Ok, so does anyone play age of empires 2 conquerors? if so then this is for you. i would like to start a hamachi aoe league just for fun.

AOE 3 stinks. Sorry.

What he means by 1.0c is the update to AOE II Gold (or original + conquerors expansion). If you don't have it (and your online games show up as 1.0a or 1.0b), download it here:

no, and this is for the 2nd one w/ the updated expansion, you can get the update by searching for age of empires 2 conquerors 1.0c

You'll have to count me out. Thanks for the downloading link, but it's on a different computer that has no Internet. Can't install it on here either. What's so bad about AOE 3?

It really is a different game. Much weirder.

Why can't you install it? I would copy it over on a flash drive or something. It simply edits a few AoE game files and that's it.

all you need to do is when it says run or save, say save and save it to your flash drive, then put it on the other comp w/ the flash drive, unless u have no internet connectivity w/ the other comp, then we can't play lol

This is my dad's work computer. He doesn't want to waste RAM and space. He found out if you install something then delete it, the space it took up is still gone. I can try to get the other one to work, but there is hardly a chance that it will work. BTW, I have finally explored all of AOE 3 and I know it's weird; but once you know how to play it, it's fun.

aoe 3 is strange because of all the guns... i know 2 has some but idk, i have also always liked medieval things, and AOE 2 sort of relates to the Bible. lol

BTW, what you just said isn't true. Look up something called the dang Recycle Bin. When stuff is deleted, the space is reclaimed.

Plus, this update won't take any more space because it replaces files, not creates new ones. (and AoE only uses RAM when open.)

Everything that was used up by the game is reclaimed 100%? And the guns are sweet; you become invincable. Medieval is fun though; horsies. lol

no....... When you delete something, you DO get the space back. Installing the patch WILL NOT take any more space or RAM.

BTW, try out guns against me in AOE II and see how invincible you are.

Those guns aren't made for heavy artillery or heavy horsies. And I need proof so my dad will let me. After all, this is his WORK computer.

Ok, lets see........

AoE II = About 800 MB (.8 GB)
Patch = 4 MB (.004 GB)

AoE itself creates ALL NEW files. The patch replaces already created files.
