I like this idea, but maybe you should start from scratch with the differing parties of interest? Just a thought.

Not a bad idea, that'd save certain characters from being used by people with a writing style and messing up the continuity (See House)

Except, for those of you who helped to get the initial project off the ground, you will recall that the hardest part of the entire story was finding a foundation/idea for everyone to agree on. There is plenty of diversity in characters... you should probably just find the one that suits you best and roll with it. :2cents:

Why stop a moving car if you intend to start it again? The car isn't broken, just step on the gas and everything will be fine.

a japanese sniper scout who is assigned to kill hudam hussain, the person who started this nuclear war. and the suit he wears turns him invisable. but thats my character.

OK! the reason i said this was, this is my character, he is the person i like for a storie like this, basicly the spy is telling you the same thing, make someone you like.

a: that sounds like a worse character line than the kirby franchise and b:no new characters....and you'll actually have to have proper grammar (to an extent on this paper) so even if Pol lets you come in on this (doubting that) no new characters

You both need to, Pol already stated no new characters till the old ones are established.

I know that the hardest part is getting it off the group. For proof, see this thread. But currently, RR and Pol are the only active writers who chose this story arc, and most of the interested parties weren't even around for the genesis of this story arc, so they don't even understand what was going on at the time. All they have is the story itself.

I'm interested in doing some writing for it, but I'd only do it if we chose a new topic to do (partially due to my disinterest in post-apocalyptic story arcs currently and partially because I feel that the story is going to end up being too disjointed). Personally, I am a fan of us sitting down, choosing a topic, choosing a main character, writing a short bio for him/her, maybe creating 1 or 2 other secondary characters to start with, and then go with it, in order to promote more cohesiveness.

I'm just going to have to go ahead and say that only people who use proper-to-near-proper grammar in their regular posts will be able to write at first. I didn't want this project to be exclusive, but I barely have time for this as-is without having to edit submissions by younger posters. For example, if I let everyone in at first and got a submissions about an invisible Asian sniper hired to assassinate Saddam, who, we suddenly find out, started the war (even though that's clearly not the case), I'd cry. "Super Bears" being in the story we had so far is evidence of what happened when I was too inclusive and too nice. The better writers tried to fix it, but it was kind of already doomed.

Now, I'm not trying to be mean or exclusive. We'll let a broader base of writers in once the main backbone of the story is up and running and the characters are developed, although content editing will be stricter than it was for the current story. I'm going to start a new thread, locked.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
