Recent Music Experience at a Long Island BK

I decided to swing by a BK outlet somewhere in Eastern Long Island while waiting to be interviewed nearby for a regular part-time DJ summer job .

It totally made my day for me to have listened to purely Christian songs that were being played by the burger store outlet.

I took courage to interview the manager who told me that a local satellite radio station is rented by the store per month for 5 stations.  He said he had chosen that particular station for it's relaxing music and was clearly aware that all the songs were Christian.

I have never experienced a fastfood outlet, let alone, a single secular store on Long Island that played Christian music.

The store manager is not Christian, yet for me, another 'practicing' non-Chrisitian.

I actually did turntables when I was a teen.  I have been doing it part-time for a long time now.  I'm doing CD and digital at the moment.  I also teach people to spin.  One of my best-kept secrets I have finally had to expose - lol.  Yes, I do parties of all sorts.

Well, records (vinyls) are expensive nowadays. You are better off playing CDs.  And, yes, I bought my equipment to be able to use for my gigs.  You said you have a turntable...that needs CD software to run it?  I wonder what kind of turntable it is....a USB type one?

Well, then I guess it's be a bit more of a mission for you to set yourself up.  Be patient for now until you get yourself a simple set-up to begin with.

I got into vinyl spinning for a wee bit but after ruining 3 vinyls after a month of scratching I decided to trade in the dj stuff for a nice regular turntable :)

digital dj'ing is awesome I've done some at my church (I run sound for the kids so I asked and they said I could) it's ALOT of fun. Need the right software though....exactly what kind of turntable is it like make and model
