Obviously there are some missing letters, but I challenge anyone to find a current cartoon that is better than the show above starting with the same letter.
That's going to be a bit difficult to do when you get to choose from all cartoons from the forties (Bugs Bunny) all the way up through those currently being produced today (The Simpsons) for your list.

1 - Bugs Bunny was still being shown in re-runs on Saturday Morning cartoons when I was growing up in the 80's
2 - The Simpsons was being shown when I was still growing up (High School) in the early 90's
3 - I watched all the shows on my list as I was growing up
4 - No show on my list was started in the last decade (I think)
5 - My point is that no cartoons started recently can compare to the cartoons I grew up with

Off the top of my head, I know Iron Man 2, Toy Story 3, the new Shrek movie, the new Robin Hood movie, and hopefully the first part of Harry Potter 7 are coming out this year.
Yup, I checked, and Harry Potter is coming out in  November 2010 !!!!

Justice League (and Justice League Unlimited) was far and away superior to the version we got to grow up with--Super Friends. As a self-contained series Star Wars: Clone Wars can hold it's own with pretty much anything. Since kids today can still watch all of the cartoons (on the internet or one of three channels devoted exclusively to cartoons if not on network television) on your list and we have two (three) admirable additions, I guess that means that right now we are at the pinnacle of television cartoon history.

My point is that it is a bit unfair to generate a list from fifty years of movie (Bugs Bunny) and television cartoons and then use that to claim things aren't as good today as they were when you were a kid.

I also have to give props to the Ben 10 series (particularly Alien Force), and anything by Scott McCracken, including Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.  And Powerpuff Girls.

Samurai Jack was also an awesome series, which is why I enjoyed the Clone Wars micro-cartoons so much: they were basically Star Wars meets Samurai Jack.  For those wondering, that also seems to be the reason the current series looks the way it does, that they were mirroring the somewhat-blocky look of the micro-series.  For example, having the hair kind of sitting on their head in a chunk rather than individual strands of hair blowing about like a Final Fantasy cutscene.

Basically every DC cartoon from the time they resurrected Batman in the early 90s are quality material.  I'm even enjoying the Batman one-offs that they're doing now where he teams up with the Lantern Corps or Blue Beetle or whomever.  What's also ridiculous is that, for all the praise that the new Arkham Asylum game is getting for its gameplay and Batmanniness, the primary reason I want to play it at this time is because Batman and Joker are voiced by Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill.  Go figure.

The X-Men cartoon series in the mid 90s is one of the all time greatest cartoon shows! I almost forgot, did anyone ever watch Beast Wars? That show was way before its time. The animation was incredible, and I think Beast Wars was better than its counterpart Transformers!

I Agree X men the original series was awesome but there is no way that beast wars was better then the original transformers. Did any one ever watch gargoyles?

I wasn't allowed to watch most of the cartoons that were popular back when I was growing up. Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, etc. were all too violent for us. Basically, if it wasn't on PBS, it was unlikely we could watch it (some Nickelodeon was allowed) And even that was called into question when Wishbone did an episode about an African mystic folk tale...

And yet, I turned out all right.

It was the reason I bought it and I was not disappointed with the voice acting. Though some of the swearing was a bit unnecessary. Guess you can't keep a prison full of crazies language from being 100% good.

Got rid of some stuff before some other stuff hits some kind of a fan.  A little collateral damage involved, sorry to those who are caught in the crossfire.
