Got a cool card idea to share...you know all those older set-aside cards with powerful abilities but durations that make them too long to ideally fit in a deck? What if this verse could be used on a card with an instead (or similar) ability to allow those durations to be reduced to just 1 turn?

Not sure what card type would be best, but it would be fun to suddenly make lots of older unused cards powerful again (Lamenting for Jephthah's Daughter, Passover Preparations, Training in Righteousness, etc)!

I remember some of my friends talking about this a while ago. I think it's to OP to just turn everything into one turn (specifically because of Passover prep and witnesses to creation). However, something that cuts the time in half (rounded up) could be good. I think a cool card would be a territory class enh that you could place in territory and discard at any time to cut the duration of a set aside in half. That way, you could also use it if your opponent sets you aside and it eliminates the need for clunky wording like "if played at the same time" or something like that.

Ah yes, I forgot about Witnesses to Creation. You're right, that one would be OP!

I like your suggestion of cutting it in half. There are just a lot of seldem-used set-aside cards and I think it would be fun for them to be more playable
