Red Weapons

So, being that red is the brigade for warriors... one would expect them to have some useful weapons right? Sadly, this is not the case right now. So... here's some ideas I have:

Bow and Arrow: 3/0 red WC Enh - You may discard this card or a red enhancement from hand to discard an evil character in play.
same ref as the gold version

Sling: 2/0 red WC enh - Negate the special ability of any evil character and decrease it 0/2 every turn while it remains in play or set aside.
Jdg 20:16 - Among all this people [there were] seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair [breadth], and not miss.

Sickle Sword: 4/0 red WC enh - If blocked by a human evil character of */4 or lower, you may discard this card to interrupt the battle and discard it.
Judges 4:16 - But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; [and] there was not a man left.

Buckler: 0/2 red WC enh - Holder may equip an additional weapon (except Buckler). Protect holder from discard abilities, and if holder would be harmed, you may discard this card instead.
Same ref

Jehoshaphat's Horses: 2/2 red WC enh - You may interrupt the battle, draw two cards, and band a human WC hero into battle.
1 Kings 22:4 - And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead ? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.

Weapon Poison: 0/0 red TC enh - Place this on a hero with a weapon: All evil characters that block that hero are poisoned and decrease 0/3 every turn. Discard after one battle. (this one might be better as a brown evil card... not sure)
Ref?

Armor bearer - 6/6 red WC hero - May exchange an enhancement from hand with a weapon in discard pile to place it on a hero of matching brigade. May band to any WC human hero.
same ref

Blacksmith: good fortress - Your red brigade WC heroes may use weapons of any brigade except silver. Once per turn you may convert an evil weapon in your hand to red brigade and place it on a hero.
Ref?

Good, but I'd make it Discard a male EC. Heroes aren't really in the habit of shooting women in the Bible.

I like it, but the wording could be a bit cleaner, like so: "Select an Evil Character. Character decreases 0/2 per block (suggested change, since rocks are rarely poisonous) and its special ability is negated while it remains in play."

The first ability should be an identifier, and the third ability should be a separate sentence.

Super-special OP. Put one of these on any WC Hero that already bands and you've got branching banding.

Needs a verse since I don't recall any good guys using poised weapons ever. If one can be found, I'd word it like this:
"Place on a Good Weapon: you may Discard this card from battle to poison all Evil Characters in battle. Evil Characters decrease 0/3 per turn."

Solid, although I'd limit the band somehow. WC banding is already way out of control.

I've looked for a reference to a good Blacksmith (or any blacksmith for that matter) in the Bible and never found one. The closest I got was a reference to an Anvil I used in an Artifact idea.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Good point

It was originally going to be a dagger, but the only dagger reference was Ehuds. The decreasing is supposed to be from the injury (makes more sense with the dagger idea).

Like.
Yeah, this is probably my favorite idea of the bunch.

I wanted to give good cards a chariot of some sort. The banding idea originated from the ability to put several guys into a single chariot.

Yeah, thats why i thought it might be better as an evil card...

Originally I had it band to just red WC heroes.

I found one that actually DOES refer to a smith, or rather the lack of one.
1 Samuel 13:19 - Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make [them] swords or spears:

Yeah, it's not a good sign when the only verse you can find dealing with the subject card is about how there weren't any ;)
