i don't really like it that much. we already have a Trap of the Devil anyways and we don't need a remake of it either.
If someone makes a different version of a card that has been made before, reminding them that it has been made before doesn't really help anyone. Just remember: Ram's Horn.
The cost seems too high. EG: Great Image on this followed by CM. No need to even block. One discard to negate seems more reasonable. Or even, one hero not in battle + 1 card from hand.
While blocking, if you have initative or there are no evil characters in battle, you may reveal the enhancement, activate, and discard it. Opponent may discard two cards from their hand to negate the enhancement. (holds one evil enhancement)

Evil Fortress:During your preparation and discard phase, you may play an evil enhancement on this fortress face down. If your opponent chooses to block, he should place an Evil Character into the Field of Battle to fight your Hero.
Broken, you could make an entire defense out of this with CBN enhancements. Also the other TotD is already good enough.
Smokey and I were discussing randomness, and this legit card idea somehow popped up.A brief explanation of how it works. You play the enhancement onto the fortress, so you still require an EC of matching brigade to put the enhancement on the fortress. However, once the enhancement is on there, it can activate even if there are no evil characters left in play, as it has already been played. This card could help as a last ditch effort when your opponent drops a CBN battle winner, or you can use it to play the card normally during battle, but make it harder for them to know what it is (U&T).And, it says while blocking, so there is no way to activate the enhancement on your turn, so it doesn't take High Place's job away.Text version:Evil Fortress:During your preparation and discard phase, you may play an evil enhancement on this fortress face down.
