Anyone remember years and years ago when Cactus printed custom Hero cards for the players? Just reminded me of that.
Somebody literally just brought up the custom cards the other day on the discord. I think this idea is super cool. Tons of logistical issues to deal with though.

The custom cards were before my time - how do they work exactly? Does it have to be a picture of yourself, or could it be anything (like Superman or Link from The Legend of Zelda, for example)?

They had a camera on-site, would take a picture of you and build a Hero of yourself from a range of approved stats and SA's. Then they'd print it out and glue it to whatever card. They were guaranteed tournament-legal for one year, but when the time came to renew them those in charge decided not to.
But I think this is a really cool idea and could be fun to try!

I recommend sending him an email with a brief description of the idea and a link to this thread (which he might have already read). If it's something he wants to pursue further he'll probably talk it through with his leadership team. He'll see that a couple of us already at least like the idea and that I'm willing to help with the graphic portion.
