Weeping Angel [Pop culture card]

I'm posting this less because it's Doctor Who (even though DW is awesome) and more because I think the ability is really interesting (if a bit wordy). I'd love other people's opinions on it as both a general Redemption card (where it would probably be considered a demon) as well as a Redemption-ified version of the Angels from DW and their "can't move while you're looking, but will mess you up if you turn away" and *spoilers* from series 7.

So basically, your opponent chooses him to block (or be added to the block) or discards a good card?
ANB is good. Change my mind.

Not sure how this works.

Unless you add the phrase "While this evil character is in play" to the third sentence, discarding will never trigger. If you do add the phrase, I would so add this to my deck along with Wall of Protection, and block with him the one time necessary to activate his SA.

If you look at its identifiers, the special ability is active in territory so the discard can trigger due to that. I had forgotten about Wall of Protection so she would prolly need a "regardless of protection/restriction" clause added (I forget which WoP is considered).

EDIT: Actually, no, it's fine as is. The opponent may be choosing to add the Angel but it's still her ability that is adding her so WoP would have no effect since you're bringing her in and not the opponent.

My bad. I didn't realize identifiers could do that, so I didn't look at them.

Very interesting ability.  I'm not sure I'd want something like this printed right now...  It could easily end up doing 1 of 2 things:  Either your opponent can't get past it (as written, you can have 4 in a territory in T2), or it gives your opponent virtually infinite initiative to do whatever they want.

It should probably have a clause saying "If opponent is rescuing..." so that it doesn't apply to side battles, battle challenges, or taunts.

If creation sings Your praises so will I
If You gave Your life to love them so will I

I could remove the Generic if that would help balance it. As far as the rescuing part, the verbiage I currently use is "without having blocked" so that should cover rescues and battle challenges. Side battles shouldn't matter as those always spawn from a rescue/challenge. That just leaves Taunt which doesn't happen super often (unless they add more cards with it) so I think it would be fine. Unless I'm missing something?

Thanks for the comments everyone! It's super helpful. :)

Why would you post this, don't you know anything that holds the image of an angel becomes an angel?  Are you trying to kill us?  ;)

As a side note, if its a demon protection from conversion is redundant, because demons can't be converted.

The part about it being a demon was just an idea for if this was an actual Redemption card (As opposed to part of a fan set that only exists within itself, which is how I originally intended it). I do see what you mean, though. :P
