I love it, it's a very good card - Here's the problem - It's too strong simply to drop pre-setaside - However, 7 turns is to long to matter at all if it places later - Additionally you can drop all your good dominants first and then play it, making it, and babylonians (Which are popular anyway) almost staples. Perhaps 3 turns then place it in territory?

Anything that limits opponents playing dominants needs to be strong enough to damage you if you've played dominants, or weak enough that it doesn't matter that you've played them - This one is neither.

I like it because it would fit right in with my 154 card Type-1 deck with Babylonian defense and no dominants...

way to OPD. You could basicly just make a win with that card, depending on what deck your opponent is using.

Example- Your opponent has only SOG ,NJ, AOTL, AOCP, and one more battle winner. Ummm, that is your opponents offense. You could easily destroy a deck like that, and now a day's I see lots of tournament deck's like that.

Then the intent of this card has been fulfilled :D

Edited for balance.

I don't think this would really combat what it is meant to combat, since most of the highly played decks nowadays are speed decks, and thus this card will only hurt you in probably 90% of games. If I'm going to wait seven turns for an effect while two of the cards I found useful enough to put in my deck are doing absolutely nothing, that effect had better be worth it.

Also, this doesn't need to be TC. :P

7 X 3 = 21 cards. Chances of all their doms not being played by that point are SLIM. Maybe 4 turns? (Nebb's pride is 4)

Idk, the way I read it you get the bonus of shutting down their doms that turn, and then losing your evil king for 7 turns.  It doesn't say "On return do ..."  it just does it.  I love this card, very nice.

I'm pretty sure his use of a colon was intended to indicate that following clause is meant to be performed after the preceding one completes (basically a shortened "to").

Korunks is correct. It's not an "on return" ability, it's a cost/benefit (cost being setting the King aside, benefit being placing the card). And the fact that all you need to get it out before your opponent can speed out his Doms is either Neb, Unknown Nation, or the card itself and a Bab King, I think it's quick enough to be effective against Speed.

In that case, I do not understand the colon. :-\

I don't understand why people would put this card in their decks because it would hurt you a lot not to be able to play your good dominants. I Even if you dumped alot of your dominants before hand it wouldn't do much because they could play the ones you used.

How about not playing with good doms at all? :)

Well, by itself it probably wouldn't be widely used, however, if released in an expansion with many other cards that punish Dominant use, there would be a distinct advantage to running a deck that isn't 20% useless against any deck running the Dom counters. Also, since so many players play Speed, which utterly relies on Dominants, players could add this and Neb to any deck to make the most popular deck type basically ineffective against their decks. People would still play Speed, but for once, there would be a good reason not to.

Actually I would gladly play a 50 card speed deck with no dominants just to pwn my opponent.  The look on their face would priceless when they realize that their Dom rush offense wont save them this time!  MUHAHAHAHA!

Which is fine with me, since your speed deck will in turn get pwnt by speed decks that do have Dominants.

I Am Grace isn't the only way to kill placed Enhancements. If you stock a Nathan or King whatsit then you can get rid of it and quick play all your Doms...or get hit by Mayhem, but that's what makes this game interesting :D
