Two Questions

First, user created cards are only for fun, right? Or are they useable outside tournaments too? Second, some of the cards that are official have a "historian" reference. So why don't we have some heroes from after bible times, either fictional characters or actual saints and evil people?

To answer your first question, no you can't use them in tournaments.

The second, books like Josephus were Roman Documents during Jesus's time and have records of doings. Most other events don't have strictly reliable book sources so we don't use them and this is a Bible related game.

While I understand what you are saying for the biblical references, I believe you misunderstand me with the fictional characters portion. I read a lot o Christian Fiction, and I was thinking people like Elyon from the circle trilogy(admittedly green was arguably not strongly Christian, I'm only referring to the original trilogy), characters like the ones in the Oracles of Fire series, watcher in the worming series. And before you say that they aren't biblical, all of these characters are either allegorical or did God's work in their storylines.

Since Redemption used fictional characters from the Angel Wars series (i.e. Arianna and Que), I think that your idea is not without merit. However, I think that such a union with a book series is unlikely at best.

There's varying levels of seriousness among the cards posted here.  Mine are (almost) always bad puns or otherwise jokes, but some try to make the best cards possible.

These are only for fun. As far as I know, no tournament allows them, not even the online ones.

2nd Question: you can make any card w/ any reference u want. Like we have superheroes suggestion. But most won't be treated as real card ideas unless they're from Josephus or the Bible. For the AW set, all the cards still had verses, so u'd have to find a verse that is at least related to ur card idea, or directly refrence the card in the verse.

It is actually very fun and really easy!
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game
