Tossed by the Waves

I've wished there was a card made to be toss ammo for a while and the existence of the Children deck means this also serves as a nice counter (Children's stats are 16/9 with the full stack).

I don't know for sure if the game works in such a way that a card can instead itself from being tossed but the purpose of the card is for it to count as a 9/9 toss if it gets tossed without actually having numbers. Another option is simply printing it as a 9/9 with no special ability but I want it to be able to support a toss based deck and not just exist as a counter to opponent's toss.

The verse is unintentionally fitting; I googled "bible toss" and the first result referenced children.

for tossed enhancements the ability never activates, so maybe it could have X/X numbers, and the identifier where X=9 when tossed

Card text overrides rule text and can allow you to do things normally not possible (Peter healing opponent's characters for example when the REG says you can only heal your own). That said you may be right and I might have to resort to identifier text for it to work as intended.

if the ability never activates it never has a chance to overwrite a game rule, so I'm pretty sure it would have to be an identifier.  that being said, I don't think it would see much play unless we see a lot more toss in the game

But then if it isn't tossed then that sorta defeats the purpose of maintaining initiative. Perhaps for the identifier: "If tossed, X = 9. Otherwise X = 0."

X/X

X = # of opponent's good brigades in play

You may discard this card and an evil enhancement from hand to decrease a Hero in battle X/X regardless of protection. Cannot be prevented.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

I like that way of doing it but I made it CBN for a couple reasons, both so it can be tossed by coliseum and because all toss abilities in the game currently are CBI so if it's mimicking toss it should be CBI as well.
