Manasseh's Altar
Artifact
Identifiers:  May be activated on King Manasseh, limit twice per game
"Once per turn, if your King of Judah blocks and you control an OT magician, you may draw 6.  If you do, discard a good Dominant from hand and you are restricted from drawing cards on your next turn."

I'm not sure I like that this 1. can be held by King Manasseh but also 2. that he, by himself, meets both conditions to let you not only draw early, but draw double your normal draw at the expense of potentially having to discard a good dominant (if you have one).

I could see this being a once per game effect, but once per turn seems like too much.

Feels like the kind of card that could give a huge boost to a defensive lock deck that only uses one or two good dominants.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

The discarding of a Dominant comes after the D6.  So even if you don't have one when you activate the ability, you aren't safe.

I debated how to punish someone from digging for SoG with this card.  Originally I had it restrict the owner from playing good Dominants until the end of their next turn, but the ability was a little wordy.

I could see this being a once per game effect, but once per turn seems like too much.

It has a limit of twice per game.

Feels like the kind of card that could give a huge boost to a defensive lock deck that only uses one or two good dominants.

Since Manasseh sacrificed his sons, what about a cost of discarding a human in territory of */4 or less?

I totally missed the identifier when I was looking at it earlier, haha. That seems a bit more balanced.

Ah, I was reading it as if you had to discard the good dominant after skipping your next draw phase so you could play your good dominants before it got to your turn.

I changed the order of the penalties to make it easier to understand.

UPDATED WITH A MORE RESTRICTIVE/DANGEROUS PENALTY, WHICH ALSO PREVENTS THIS CARD FROM BEING USED TWO TURNS IN A ROW.
