Theme Development

I'm wanting to make some new cards that create themes for Brigades that currently don't have any and supplement the others. If I have left anything off this list, please help me fill it in.

Silver: Powerful characters, lacklustre enhancements
Gold: Forcing Opponent to draw; Territory Destruction; Conversion
White: Ignoring; TGT
Red: Banding; Lots of Negation on Enhancements; Deck Discard
Teal: Powerful Heroes; Protection from everything; CBN battle-winners (seems like the theme is just being pwn in general, only thing they don't have is FbtN)
Green: Pre-Block playing; Shuffling
Blue: Hand Discard
Purple: TToD; AocP (not very specific)

Orange: Playing from bottom; powerful characters, lacklustre Enhancements (like Silver, makes sense); Placement
Black:
-Philistines: Invincible Evil Characters; Lots of Negation; Sitelock
-Sadducees: Great Initiative; (idk what else?)
Grey:
-Syrians: Capture
-Romans: Hand Discard
Pale Green: No real common thread in either Magicians or Assyrians. Jack-of-all-lanterns.
Gold: Deck Discard
Brown: Strong Characters and CBN Enhancements; Sitelock; Set-aside manipulation
Crimson: Capture; Anti-Teal; Banding

Again, any input would be welcome. Once I have the theme list I'll get to work. My goal is to make brigades more theme-centric with regard to what they do, rather than civilization based. Hopefully this will allow for more creativity when creating a deck, and more consolidation on Defense. I believe that a bunch of cards doing the same thing is more tenable than a offense/defense that is all over the place. If your whole offense is about Conversion, you can include the support to make that work. If your whole offense is about territory destruction, same thing. If you have a generalized offense that has one conversion card and one discard card and one capture card and one territory destruction card etc., it becomes difficult to make sure they work all the time. But at the same time, a greater variety can mean multiple roads to victory, avoiding a rock/paper/scissors problem (i.e. your Capture deck runs up against a Green/Teal offense with a Assyrian defense and Blue Tassels).

Long story short, I want to make the cards that will maybe get people thinking about a less formulaic Redemption.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Silver has always been banding heavy within silver and also to other brigades.  Don't really agree with the Enhancement comment but that's neither here nor there.

Quote
Gold: Forcing Opponent to draw; Territory Destruction; Conversion
Anti-Human

Quote
White: Ignoring; TGT
Anti-Demon and recursion

Quote
Red: Banding; Lots of Negation on Enhancements; Deck Discard
Warriors and Weapons

Quote
Teal: Powerful Heroes; Protection from everything; CBN battle-winners (seems like the theme is just being pwn in general, only thing they don't have is FbtN)
Teal is to Redemption as steroids is to Barry Bonds.

Green: Pre-Block playing; Shuffling
Conversion

Quote
Blue: Hand Discard
Negates

Quote
Purple: TToD; AocP (not very specific)
Access and strong Heroes

Quote
Orange: Playing from bottom; powerful characters, lacklustre Enhancements (like Silver, makes sense); Placement
Can't think of anything else but again not agreeing with the Enhancement comment.

Quote
Black:
-Philistines: Invincible Evil Characters; Lots of Negation; Sitelock
-Sadducees: Great Initiative; (idk what else?)
Hero discarding

Quote
Grey:
-Syrians: Capture
-Romans: Hand Discard
Nothing else

Pale Green: No real common thread in either Magicians or Assyrians. Jack-of-all-lanterns.
Capture is heavy within palegreen and Assyrians.  Asnappar, King TP3, Sargon, Esau, and three capture Enhancements, then Magic Charms with the Magicians.  Paralysis.

Gold: Deck Discard
Yep

Quote
Brown: Strong Characters and CBN Enhancements; Sitelock; Set-aside manipulation
Disease/Decrease and Evil Judeans

Quote
Crimson: Capture; Anti-Teal; Banding
Territory destruction (Great Image, Set Fire, etc...)
May you prosper greatly!

Nice list.  I'll read it over more carefully later, but one thing I noticed:

Purple: draw and discard.

We also need to establish the trends for some still-developing themes:

Daniel: I think this theme should focus on protection, and maybe negation and/or banding, since the stories of these characters always involve them refusing to take part in unfaithful practices. However, they should be distinct from red warriors.
Musicians: Not really sure what the theme should be here, but something that exemplifies "pacifying" EC's would be cool.
Greeks: Because of A-bom, I think they should focus on making opponent draw, and other kinds of territory destruction.
Pharisees/Sadducees: So, these guys always focused on empty practices, pride, and hypocrisy. There's already sort of the theme of revealing your hand to do stuff in the Pharisees, which is rather fitting, so that should be expanded. I think Sadducees should get something similar, but maybe revealing the deck instead? They didn't believe in the resurrection...maybe stopping healing and returning from discard pile? Just brainstorming...
Herods: These guys started on deck d/c, but I think that was just to make them playable before they got going. They were unwanted controllers of the Jews' lives - maybe they could focus on stealing stuff. That would be interesting.
Assyrians: They should be like red - banding and negating. They already have a little of that with Archer, Rabsaris, Assyria's Tribute, and all those PG negates. And since all their characters have absolutely no chance of getting initiative, we might as well pile them up.
Magicians: Collaboration with demons is the only trace of theme in these guys right now. They continue the bottom-of-the-deck theme that demons are just starting to pick up on. I think I'm liking that, but I think they also need to be able to work by themselves somehow.
Israelites: In FoOF, brown kind of halfheartedly began this theme, but it has no glue at all, so it needs anything. I think they could focus on idol abuse.
Judean Kings: Gates of Jerusalem was awesome, but I think these guys should be concentrated in one brigade, probably brown, but maybe crimson. Theme? Dunno. They were just...bad.

Gold also works with captures alot. Though not a super dominate theme they do have the most potent captures out there.

Make more side battle cards for yellow/evil gold.  It already has two so it can become a theme.

Yellow has SvS. CBN if used by a judge. I personally don't like side battles so I would be totally against this. But on defense I would have to say yeah. I can only think of one card evily right now that does side battles, Christian Suing another, but that is crimson...

Evil Gold has Joes bros scheme and Troops discharged. Egyptians DID cause alot of problems between nations so I would love to see that be a sub theme to deck d/c.
