So when my Chief Cupbearer is converted to Blue, can I attack with him to set aside a hero from my opponent's territory for 3 turns, then convert the hero to blue?  And can I do this every 3 turns?  It's like a recurring Gold Shield that doesn't require you to be attacked

Yep. This card would single-handedly make Egyptians playable (and the other cards would make them good).

An enhancement that sets aside X Egyptians to negate all protect deck etc.

Skinny Cattle should say from top of deck, right?

Blighted grain won't work with that wording.  I'll place it on top of your draw pile, then (oops!) discard the top card of your draw pile.

It's on the draw pile, not in the draw pile. It's not the top card to be Discarded.

Hmm...  Though you may want to make that clear somehow
