Wording on chief cupbearer "... to set this card an opponent's hero aside..."
otherwise it looks good.

So when my Chief Cupbearer is converted to Blue, can I attack with him to set aside a hero from my opponent's territory for 3 turns, then convert the hero to blue?  And can I do this every 3 turns?  It's like a recurring Gold Shield that doesn't require you to be attacked  :)

How about a cupbearer who can search for any card with a cup on it?  It would allow him to search for any artifact or covenant!  Kind of ironic.

Yep. This card would single-handedly make Egyptians playable (and the other cards would make them good).

There needs to be a way to negate deck protection, cause if the opponent has JTower or $4 Coin up, most of these don't work, since the discard is part of a cost.  Perhaps for Pharaoh's Dream, cards that protect opponent's deck are negated while the Pharaoh is set aside.  Or maybe an artifact that can be activated on your Pharaoh or Egyptian king...  Or on an Egypt site  :)  For something new and different

An enhancement that sets aside X Egyptians to negate all protect deck etc.

I'd make blighted grain play to territory rather than top of deck because it'd be a pain to draw with it on top, would it not?

Skinny Cattle should say from top of deck, right?

Skinny Cattle fixed. I don't want to make it too easy to kill protection, since Gold already has Spreading Mildew for JTower, Beheaded for Simon the Zealot, and Artifact Destruction is common to all Brigades. Blighted Grain is meant to be annoying and could psychologically encourage your opponent to pay its cost to Discard it (the only way there is to get rid of it).

Blighted grain won't work with that wording.  I'll place it on top of your draw pile, then (oops!) discard the top card of your draw pile.

He could then search for holy grail and use it to convert himself. If this was his ability then I think that when he uses holy grail it doesn't count as one of the times.

It's on the draw pile, not in the draw pile. It's not the top card to be Discarded.
