The votes are in! It was close the entire way with a lot of good back and forth. While The Watchman ended with a couple more votes in the end, clearly the community wants both The Watchman and Paul. Thanks to multiple people for suggesting - "why not just make both of them". You've been heard!

This week we're going to vote on the brigade(s). You can vote more than once but only vote for the brigade(s) you want The Watchman to have. In the end, if multiple brigades have close to the same amount of votes this Hero will have all of those brigades.

Voting will last for 1 week.

Each player may submit 1 special ability each for The Watchman and Paul.

Only 1 PM per board member. Include your suggested SA for both Heroes. All PMs after the first will not be used so make sure you've thought it through well before sending.

What is this about?

IMO, I think dual brigade--green/red--is the way to go with The Watchman.  I don't know of any other heroes who are green/red, and it's very appropriate for this character anyway.  Vote green/red!

I'm curious why the ability suggestions are pm only. I would imagine the suggestions could benefit a lot from each other's feedback.

Probably to make things organized so Gabe doesn't have to dig through an entire thread full of discussion. Also it keeps submissions anonymous so people don't just bandwagon onto their favorite elder/REP/best friends suggestion.

I'm totally on-board with this idea. Red and green are winning atm so I'm really hoping this happens.

Also is there a specific reference that would be used for this card? I usually like to read the context of the person's reference to get thematic ideas for special abilities.

I was just thinking it would be the one he already has. I took my idea from something someone said in an earlier post about being a watchman and a leader against sin in this world.

Either the current scripture reference or Isaiah 62:6-7.

I think i like Ezekiel 3:17 more than that one, but there are a surprising amount of verses in the bible comparing prophets to watchmen. I'll be really interested what people come up with for verses.
