Light & Darkness are big themes in the Bible.
Imagine a new mysterious race called the Shadow...lol, got your attention? Ok ok,I actually looked up verses on shadows and shade and there's a lot and they can be used to design good & evil cards. Now I'm thinking of Light, I'm sure there's lots of verses on that too.
Jeremiah 48:45
"In the shadow of Heshbon The fugitives stand without strength; For a fire has gone forth from Heshbon And a flame from the midst of Sihon, And it has devoured the forehead of Moab And the scalps of the riotous revelers.
Psalms 91:1
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Isaiah 59:9
Therefore justice is far from us, And righteousness does not overtake us; We hope for light, but behold, darkness, For brightness, but we walk in gloom.
Job 3:3-5
"Let the day perish on which I was to be born, And the night which said, 'A boy is conceived.' "May that day be darkness; Let not God above care for it, Nor light shine on it. "Let darkness and black gloom claim it; Let a cloud settle on it; Let the blackness of the day terrify it.
