The Plagues of Egypt V2.0

Hey guys, some of you may remember a set of plague remakes I created in this thread. Well, I was inspired to take another look at them and revamp them a bit. I present my second take of the plagues of Egypt.

One goal I had was to give most of the cards a two-part ability. Most of these can be used to an extent by any gold or green hero, but if you want the full force of these enhancements, you need to play them on Exodus heroes.

I like them for the most part. I might add a CTB ability to Plague of Darkness (like Discard this to choose the Blocker)
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

they need to be cbp by a good card so Moses can use them.

There's already two solutions to that, either use the no SA Moses, or use this.

Plus, I'm tired of CBP/CBI/CBN being a built-in requirement for most strong cards. What happened to interesting battles where both players had strong cards, but could each save themselves with a well timed negate.

So, in hindsight, I made Plague of Boils pretty overpowered. I'm open to ideas of how to change it.

I think Plague of Locusts is OP.  It can be played preblock with Aaron via Hidden Treasures, which will (depending on what defense the opponent has in play) pretty much guarantee a successful rescue.  Plus, your opponent will be at a severe card disadvantage for quite a while.

Returning, say, 5 cards from your opponent's hand to deck is more powerful IMHO than a D5.

Plague of Flies is too powerful. Making a battle FbtN only for Evil as well as Negating Curses and Evil Forts, plus a hand discard that can easily be large, playable pre-battle is too grand.

Plague of Boils would be crazy powerful even if it weren't TC, and as TC it's going to shred any non-meta defense. Just lower the decrease for an Exodus Hero to 3/3 and remove the TC.

Plague of Locusts would be one of if not the most powerful cards in the game.

Plague of Darkness would be overbalanced if it weren't TC, but is way too powerful as TC. All my speed works but yours doesn't? Yeesh!

The rest are great, though, and they all look fantastic.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I keep forgetting Aaron can play pre-block. >.<

Yeah, Already decided this one was OP. Those changes could work, and I may add a turn limit as well.

Upon further thought, it is rather powerful. I wanted something to represent how devastating locusts can be to a nation's resources.

My idea with this one was based on the fact that the Egyptians were basically blinded for 3 days, while the Israelites still had light. Maybe if I changed the exodus half to say CBP instead of CBN?

Agreed...especially since we only have Raid for dragons right now as a counter.  :P
Final ANB errata: Return player to game.

What would be hilarious is throwing in the Apostles' versions of Matthew/Simon Zealot in a Disciples deck focused on Thad Rad just so you can play Plague of Boils/Crown of Thorns at the same time and win even more.
