The Opened Tombs
Brigades: Clay/White, Clay/Red, or Clay/Gold
SA: If rescuing, banish this card. If you do, resurrect all O.T. Heroes from each player's discard. You may add any number to the battle. Reserve them after battle.
Reference: Matthew 27:52-53

I know this event is something that not mentioned much, but it is such an awesome thing! I know the choice of O.T. heroes might be interpreted differently by others, but it is a start at least. What happens after they went into Jerusalem is also not known (as far as I know), so what happens with the heroes after could change. Thoughts? I think it would be wild fun!

I 100% agree that this event is so often overlooked and should be referenced more (I even used if for inspiration on a card I designed a while back)!

The ability feels a bit reminiscent of Valley of Dry Bones. The power balance between the two is interesting - Valley is best used in decks that can generate a lot of captured heroes, and only resurrects one, while this resurrects for everyone. Valley (usually) also takes the hero to the territory whereas this reserves them after battle.

All in all, I dig it, though the fact that it's comparable to a dominant means it may be a bit strong. Some kind of condition around SoG could be very flavorful. Having it be three of your four proposed good brigades would mean that it's a bit easier to splash in T1 but also (more importantly) restrict it to one per deck for T2.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

A 1 per deck identifier could help limit it. While it could likely be a dominant with deck restrictions like Second Coming and CoF, having it be an enhancement could limit it well. Having it work only after playing SoG would also be great thematically. Needs work, that’s for sure.

I say make it a Dominant, make it conditional upon SoG being in your discard pile, and then do all the stuff you have it doing.

I feel like Clay is out of the question because the church wasn't established until after Jesus ascended into heaven but I agree this is too strong to be easily played by lots of brigades and possibly recurred so making it a Dominant makes it so you can't recur it unless you use Second Coming which would be silly with SoG already in your discard pile.
May you prosper greatly!

That would probably be best. Maybe a cannot be included in a deck with Valley of Dry Bones as well since they are similar?
