With the number of protect forts now, being able to discard all forts in play at a MP table would wreck the game.  For an example of another overpowered dom, look at Meyhem.  The elders even had to change the ability after the fact to correct for the problem.  If this was a "Negate and Discard One Fortress in Play", you might get more interest.

It could just say, "Discard all of holders fortresses in play. For each of holder's fortresses discarded discard one from any opponent."

It could just say, "Discard all of holders fortresses in play. For each of holder's fortresses discarded discard one from any opponent."

It would then be possible to play a fortress busting deck by throwing in a few forts you don't need, discarding them to discard your opponents forts, then play your protect forts from hand.  How about "Discard one of holders fortresses in play.  Discard one fortress at random from one opponent."

Even if you built a deck to do that it would take up card slots

and for all the talk about 50-53 card decks with speed and battle winners who is gonna play a troll deck on fort anyways

I'm very much in favor of an anti Fort/Site dom, especially now that we have the dom cap.  Forts and Sites are essentially artifacts that have less counters and have no limit to the number of them you can have up.  I personally would prefer "Negate and discard a site or fortress in play or set aside.

Agree with Drrek. I've wanted a Dominant like this for a long time. If we can have a Dom that negate and discards an Artifact, then we surely must have something for the super-Arts which are Sites and Fortresses. They practically have the same game mechanics as Artifacts but are far more easily spammable.

I'm also very much in support of an Anti-Fort Dom. But not a D/C all Forts.
The second problem I have with this is that it's not what the Flood was, the Flood was a disasterous event that destroyed the entire world except for Noah and all who were on the Ark. I think that really no Dominant that isn't insanely overpowered could suffice to make a card that can even come close to being Biblically accurate. At bare minimum, I'd rather see it as an Enhancement rather then a Dominant (and have a lot of cost)
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

What if we had a dominant that could discard one fortress without cost, but added some kind of identifier that only allows it or DoN to be in the same deck, not both? I don't think the story behind DoN really fits such an ability, but I think it would force people to choose one or the other, which would be balancing enough. Forts are, in my opinion, too powerful right now, and having something like this would be a great balancer.

What's wrong with both DoN and this theoretical fort-killer in the same deck?

I can't think of one.  I actually think it would be more beneficial to allow for the deck building strategy of trying to fit both in.

That's a good point, Dom slots are already down to the wire.

I don't think that would be nessessary, because of Dom cap, but just a Dom to hit a Site/Fort even if it doesn't negate it. I'd like that, but not a Flood Dom.

For this card I would suggest "Negate and Discard all Fortresses, Lost Sites and artifacts from Genesis and all Characters from Genesis 7 and earlier except for all known to be on the ark.

This would never get used.

How about just: "Negate and discard one fortress in play or set aside".
This would work since there is already a Dom cap, and forts really should have a counter, we all know they are only going to get better.
