Well, actually there is no real Cross card because it would be insanely OP if it was anywhere close to being Biblicially accurate.

Crossbeams is actually different, it's more of mentioning the part brought up by Matthias (I think that was his name) and even so, the effect doesn't fit the biblical reference and to make one that does would be strange (since it would be hard to give it a proper effect, but maybe it could be tied into a Roman theme...) but a general card for the Cross would be extremely powerful in a Christian Card Game. It's the same reason they don't have a Jesus Christ character or a God card, they would be too powerful for the game.

Haha! They could make a new dominant as a Cross card! It could be one sweet dominant!

That's Son of God (Jesus) not God (God the Father)

There's not really a need for one. As megaman said, it would be very OP if at all accurate.

I don't know what you guys are talking about.  I have thousands of cross cards and they are primarily the way to win this game.  Like:  Joshua, Moses, Noah, Gideon, David, Isaiah, Ruth, Elijah, Hezekiah, Zechariah, Paul, the disciples, etc................

The Cross as an Artifact (a actual card not representing a card type)
But good effort at a joke though...

What if it was like a cost card? Then it wouldn't have to be too OP

Like discard 5 martyrs from your own territory to save one lost soul. Discard after one use.

Martyrs would include disciple we know we're killed for their faith, Steven and other know martyrs

Because it still wouldn't follow what the cross was, and that cost isn't that bad to have only to rescue 2 LS's by a hero.
Not to mention that the definition of Martyr is undefined, since my 'Redemption' definition excludes Disciples (just so they don't get the ability to use more Battlewinners) but it varies on people, but I still that your suggestion would still be OP too.

The Rood
Artifact
-May be activated on Golgotha-
"All good conversion abilities work regardless of protection. Negate Protect abilities on Lost Souls."

Actually I don't think The Cross should do what most people think.  Stefferweffer made a good attempt at it a year or two ago, and had a very well-thought out Biblical reasoning for the ability, which involved negating the abilities of NT heroes.  His reasoning was that the Cross was a stumbling block for the Disciples (they didn't understand what it meant) until after Jesus' resurrection and appearances - they were thinking just like the Pharisees and other Jews, that the Messiah would be a conqueror that would crush Israel's oppressors, not a servant who willingly sacrificed his life with a criminal's death.

Good idea. Any thing that hurts Disciples.

That would interesting since there is no negate for only NT Heroes.
