Sword of Gideon

Artifact   S/A: If all of Holder's heroes in play have no special ability printed on the card, protect those heroes from capture and removal from the game. May play first enhancement each battle. Cannot be negated.

Judges 7: 13-14 13 Gideon arrived just as a man was telling a friend his dream. "I had a dream," he was saying. "A round loaf of barley bread came tumbling into the Midianite camp. It struck the tent with such force that the tent overturned and collapsed."14 His friend responded, "This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite. God has given the Midianites and the whole camp into his hands."

What do ya think? There are just too many old cards out there that probably have never been used in a deck before. 4/4 red mighty warrior for example. I just was thinking of something to help get the dust off those cards. Is this powerful enough? Or are those ability-less heroes just doomed to unplayability? lol

*Edit* There, fixed it. I think that's a good idea. Especially because Gideon's men did get the hypothetical "first enhancement" that battle lol.

would the cbn at the end of this card stop namaan's chariots from interupting?

I don't know if that would change the use of those characters that much.

And on a side note I did have a deck that used the 4/4 Mighty Warrior a couple of years ago, but it was too slow and it didn't get initiative much (With all the new 2KH cards I don't think it would get any easier), however if there was a way to get initiative with them it they might see some play...
If you are reading this signature, thank a physicist.

That's what Windows of Narrow Light is for...

Type: Artifact • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Protect your Heroes with no special ability from capture, conversion and removal from the game. • Identifiers: OT, Temple Item • Verse: I Kings 6:4 • Availability: Promotional cards (2008 Local Tournament)

This would have been amazing had they some way of play first by some condition, maybe if being blocked by a character that has a particular SA or a weapon...

Yeah I know about that card... Its not enough to get me to put in any s/a less heroes. It needs another punch or something.

I would also edit it that only those heroes get to play the first enhancement each battle.  Because with this defintion you get to play the first enhancement every battle,  good and evil.
Don't buy Angel Wars!

I had a Genesis deck with Windows when it first came out. That wasn't too bad, but the thing is I would prefer the SA's of the SA heroes to the SA of Windows. :-\ I wish it had been i little more powerful. I really like this idea, though.

If you were playing with a Genesis deck that doesn't count... ::)

I think Redemption has way too many ways to play the first Enhancement, especially prior to an Evil Character blocking.
May you prosper greatly!

Nope, it wasn't Genesis.  It was THIS deck.  The two non SA heroes were a critical part of my success.
