Swayed by Evil
[Black? Evil Enhancement | 2/4 | 2 Timothy 3:6]
Search opponent’s deck for an evil Dominant and add it to their hand. Opponent must play it. Protect your cards from its special ability. Cannot be interrupted.

Totally random idea I had. I know how much Mayhem can be annoying so I wanted to come up with a way of turning it against your opponent.

Ouch. I'm imagining the possibilities. Just remember, this can hurt you too - if they've already played Mayhem, are holding it, or don't have it in their deck, you'll have to choose something else. Falling Away might work if you have a Guardian and they don't, but with the other three main ones, you have to remember that they still chose the target.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

How about...

Dominant: If opponent has played Mayhem before you could put more than 2 cards down in territory, you may rip Mayhem.

That's why I added the "protect your cards from its special ability" clause, so in a 2-player game they'd have to target their own card with whatever dominant you search for. In multiplayer, they could still target someone else (or in the case of Mayhem it would still affect everyone else), but you'd be safe. :P

Love it.
Thanks!

The option to grab their own Falling Away and use it against them seems good enough to accomplish what you want, but thanks for the suggestion. ^_^

No problem, I am a big fan  of black brigade and like anything that can give my all black defense the edge.

The problem with it is that in the event you get your guardian right away and have been able to use your FA, and you play this before they get their guardian, they have lost two lost souls and you have lost one. It's annoying enough when your opponent can use FA and Guardian; this would only be more annoying and slightly OP'ed, IMHO.

I see what you mean, but with all the protection (especially from shuffle ala Nazareth) running around right now, I think you could protect yourself from this easily enough. Also, you could always just not run evil dominants. ;)

I could add a cost, I suppose, if other people agree that it's OP.

I love it, I think it should be any dominant though. It'd be fun to win battles with their angel of the lord, and it would make them consider putting any dominants in their deck.
As a national champion, I support ReyZen deck pouches.

If I made it any dominant, I would need to change the title and reference (perhaps make it a dual card?), though I do kinda like that idea. I would think that would definitely be overpowered, though, being able to grab their SoG and make them not able to use NJ.

It's not OP in the least, IMO. I love it.

I didn't think it was, so thanks for the second opinion. Glad you like it. :D

I was thinking sog with no ls, but yeah that'd hurt too. =)

It'd be way cooler if it was TC but had some sort of restriction.

I'm all for that, do you have any suggestions for the restriction? It doesn't have to be black either if another brigade works, I just assigned it black cuz I didn't know what else to give it.

You could make both players do it. "Each player must search a deck for an evil dominant and play it. Protect that players cards from that dominant."

The what's the point of having the dominent hurt your opponent if the dominent can't hurt his cards?
