To those saying you can't see it, I think you have to log into Redemption Connect to see it.

For those who can't read it:

Adam, 8/3 Blue Hero, Genesis 2:22
Search deck for Eve. May band with Eve. Ignores Animals. Protected from Discard when you have no other Males.

In my opinion, he's alright, but lacks some special oomph. Protection from discard in Genesis is already present in a better form with Joseph, and unless there were a bunch of support, I don't see this getting much play. (And why would he ignore animals, when he sure didn't ignore the serpent?)

Well, as to the animals, read the story again and you may think otherwise ;) It's also due to the fact that all Animals are Evil in Redemption and since Adam had dominion over them, they can't block him.

How could you not see him getting played? One of the chief elements in Genesis is character tutoring, and this is a Hero that tutors the best tutor and then bands to her, allowing her to tutor immediately. Sounds pretty powerful to me. The protection from discard was just kind of thrown in to give him another tool in his belt.

I completely agree that Adam needs a usable reprint...and I really like this card.  It seems pretty balanced to me as well, while being useful (as Pol pointed out).

I disagree that Eve is the best tutor.  Stone Pillar is better (though it does have a cost), because you can search for anything, and same goes for Answer to Prayer.   Even Rachel is a better tutor in my opinion since she gets the better hero she tutors out into battle, instead of leaving you stuck with her in battle.  Eve does a brute force type of tutor (which I think is not as good as a tutor that always gets you what you want), and leaves her self in battle, where she's not a very good hero for genesis (can't use Joe before Pharaoh, and has no access to cb-anything battle winners)

I'll take a +a lot with no cost over a +1 with a cost most of the time. I often don't even use Stone Pillar because my deck runs so fast without it eating up my slot.

It's a great card but a little bland. I'm fine with it as a playable card but I would like to see some imagination with superstars of the bible.

Yeah, that's always the trick with Genesis characters is giving them fitting abilities without entering the realm of OP.

I like this Adam, sure right now it isn't terribly useful, it is maybe on the mid level good, its not Jacob, Joseph or Benjamin good, but it could see some play, but it could be good for a pre-Abraham sub Genesis theme.

I would give him a little more, how about do something with Garden of Eden (which needs a reprint into a fortress), maybe:

Adam, 8/3 Blue Hero, Genesis 2:22
Search deck for Eve. May band with Eve. Ignores Animals. If Garden of Eden is in play protect Adam and Eve from Discard and you may draw 1.
If you are reading this signature, thank a physicist.

Be careful about searches plus draws, we have seen what that can turn into. Imagine I have Rachel and simion in play. I start my turn drawing 3. One is Adam. Start the rescue with him, search for and band to eve. Draw 1. Eve checks 4 cards, 2 are humans. You now have 2 characters in battle protected from discard and got a plus 4.

This is being conservative with Eve's reveal. I like it because it's good, just need to be careful with it because gen decks already have a large amount of search ability.

I'd like an ability that represents Adam as the original head of the human race.  Something like:

"While Adam is in play, abilities that target Adam also target all humans in play and set-aside for the same effect."  What happens to Adam happens to us all.

Great ability, but making bunker-busting that easy doesn't sit well with me.

How about a "redirect" or "instead" with X limits?
