Post by: Deck Metrics on July 01, 2010, 08:21:58 AM
Lamb Dominant
Psa 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Heal a hero in play, draw two cards and you may play the next enhancement.

you'll have to help me out; what do you mean? Do you understand the mechanic or do you mean in the context of why are people designing cards that let you play the next enhancement? Being able to play the next enhancement is big.

Green/Red Enhancement Territory Class Psa 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
While holder has a red and green brigade hero in play, holder may draw 4 cards instead of 3 during draw phase.
Just wanted to put a reason to see red played again, yet not make the card usless by only allowing it to be used by red.
The idea is, throughout scripture, prophets have helped instruct warriors before and in battle.
May not be that good of an Idea though.

Yay a dominant that cancels christian martyr, draws cards and gives initiative just what we need

Now to bash your sarcasm with sarcasm ;)
Yeah just what we need, something that interrupts CBN dominants!

i'm surprised to see anyone excited about a new dominant. seriously, its the last thing type 1 needs. the new ones are great (in that they can act defensively [grapes] and hurt speed [mayhem]), but the game doesn't need more dominants for a little while. y'all have heard the threads about NJ rite?

The two people I saw showing excitement were being sarcastic.

You red hero may play the first enhancement or make the battle by the numbers for the next X battles (Where X is the number of prophets in play (minimum of one))
Psa 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

I love that. it fits so well. I'd say BTN cept for weapon/warrior class/banding though.

Nooooo, We do not need a 33/30 BTN banding chain that must be killed four times

That wording is really awkward. How about:
Sun and Shield 0/0 Red TC GE "If you have a good prophet in play, you may negate all special abilities on characters and enhancements except banding this turn, or play a good enhancement once an Evil Character blocks this turn." Psalm 84:11

You can just say "when blocked" instead of "when an Evil Character blocks," and you can just say "Enhancement" rather than "Good Enhancement."
I like it, but give it some numbers.

Sun and Shield 2/5 Red TC GE "If you have a good prophet in play, you may negate all special abilities on characters and enhancements except banding this turn, or play an enhancement when blocked this turn." Psalm 84:11
Eh?

One more minor gripe, say "except this one" so it can be used in battle (and by Musicians), and it's one of my favorite NCI's in a while.

Sun and Shield Red TC enhancement
You red hero may play the first enhancement or make the battle by the numbers for the next X + 1 battles (Where X is the number of prophets in play)
Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Cleaned up the wording a bit, and musicains can't use it

Sun and Shield 2/5 Red TC GE "If you have a good prophet in play, you may negate all special abilities on characters and enhancements except banding this turn, or play an enhancement when blocked this turn." Psalm 84:11
Eh?
Imagine a T2 deck with 5 of these and 5 A Soldier's Prayer. This negates WC enh, so Archers/Horses wouldn't stop it

Good. Those are overused in T2, and Red is underused everywhere, so two problems solved. Also, Namaan + Deluge of Rain, Nerg + Deceit of Sapphira, The Rabshakeh Attacks, and Simon Magus/Carcasses/CBP LS/Asherah Pole + Joseph in Prison/Rizpah's Sackloth/Korah's Rebellion can all do this combo in pretty easily, and those are all pretty well-used cards already.
This, of course, is all besides the fact that T2 is broken already. *Runs away giggling*

Nerg/Deceit wouldn't work would it? I thought he was OT only? Head of gold would chuckle at this though.
