Title: Stronghold/Temptation Card Type
Post by: Deck Metrics on November 24, 2009, 09:15:57 AM
Evil card, plays like an enhancement, but stays in play with an effected hero.  For example, a Lust (really a form of covetousness) stronghold weakens a hero, -1/-1 or -2/-2 if battling against an evil female.  A Pride stronghold can backslide a hero into a villain or heathen.  A Fear stronghold can prevent a hero from rescue attempts or battle challenges.

Interesting idea, but that mechanic already exists in the form of "placed enhancements". There is really no need to make a completely separate card type to do what an enhancement can do already.

Is that a card type? I haven't seen a card with "placed enhancement" printed on the card... or is that an ability? Because I've seen a card that was an enhancement that said it remained in play. So I'm curious if it's an ability or an actual card with an icon and such.

Place enhancements have no special icon of any sort. I agree a new kind of card for this is rather unnecessary, especially now with High Places.
