Title: Spirit of Chaos
Post by: Minister Polarius on September 18, 2010, 02:06:00 AM
Spirit of Chaos
X/X Orange Evil Character
-Generic, X=# Of cards Discarded by this Special Ability-
"Once per game, interrupt Protection, turn all cards in a territory face-down, shuffle, split into two even piles, turn one pile face-up, and Discard one pile, and return the rest. Cannot be Interrupted."
James 3:16

Before screaming "OP," realize that it doesn't say "except Lost Souls."

Yes, so I'm going to play minimal stuff to territory, draw out my souls, and then use him to nuke as many as possible.

If I hit 5 or more souls it's over, if I hit 3 or 4 I need to use a dominant, if I hit 2 then need the big two and burial.

Yeah, go ahead and build a deck around that and then get hit with Thankful Leper or Wicked Community or any of the other semi-useful cards that would become useful if this were printed :D

It should start out as 1/1 and then increase by x. Otherwise the spirit would be deas before it entered battle.

I wanted it to "deas" if it entered play in any way other than blocking from hand for the first time. It fits with the chaos motif and acts as a bit of a balancing mechanism.
