Philistine's Riddle
0/6 Black Evil Enhancement, TC
"If used by a Philistine, look at opponent's hand and Discard a Good Enhancement. If a Teal or Purple Enhancement is Discarded, battle ends immediately."

Yes. Black is weak. Philistine's are probably the second worst defence, just barely ahead of Syrians :)

I would say, "Look at opponent's hand. Discard a Teal or Purple enhancement from that hand to end the battle immediately." Otherwise it'll win a battle every time. (And it's true, Philistines do not need any more cards to make them more played.)

It wouldn't win the battle every time, I don't think. And if this card were around, people may consider I Am Mercy or Standing in the Gap, a good thing in my book, or going rogue so they can have multiple battle-winners to play against Black.

In the present condition, one enhancement is quite enough incentive to start a battle. One enhancement discarder is enough to ruin your chances of winning it. Taking Egypt's Wealth is almost always an effective battle-winner when I use it.

I agree, but I also don't think that makes it O.P. I Am Mercy and Standing in the Gap already exist, as well as the Heroes that protect your hand.

So do Captured Ark and Darius' Decree if I am not mistaken.

Doesn't matter. They can't activate those on your turn. If you throw up Gap or IAM, this card is useless when you attack.

So you block with Garrison that turn instead and then next turn you activate Captured Ark or DD...

Hand d is far more damaging than this card, and yet gap and iam is still not teched against it. truth is, they just aren't practical enough to main. just gotta bite the bullet.

I still don't think it's OP and I'd love to see it made since it would seem to encourage balanced decks and discourage speed.

How would it discourage speed? If used in battle maybe but speed usually doesn't give you initiative unless its using FBTN or Protection, which since this can't isn't CBP.

1. If it's used in battle it will kill the one enhancement that could win the battle since Speed typically only has one Battle-Winner per brigade. And Philistine Chariots will become useful.
2. If it's used outside of battle, try winning without AoCP or Zeal.
