Actually Mark isn't quite an apostle. However, I completely agree that he needs a new and improved version. Personally, I would really like his SA to say something along these lines:

Mark - While this character is in play, all cards with the words "ignore" or "draw" are removed from the game.

I suppose he'd also be able to use any Enhancements with a Mark reference, regardless of brigade color. :D
