Exorcists[Pale Green/Crimson? EC | 6/7 | Generic, Magician, Heretic? | Acts 19:13]Roll a die. If the result is 3 or 6, you may take an opponent's demon. May band to a Magician(, Heretic,) or demon. Cannot be interrupted. Man with Evil Spirit[Brown?/Orange EC | 9/9 | Human, Demon | Acts 19:16]Choose human or demon. This character is treated only as that type this battle. When a hero is defeated, discard all enhancements on its owner's heroes and those heroes decrease 2/2. Cannot be interrupted. Joyful Homecoming[Multi GE | 3/3 | Parable | Luke 15:6]Interrupt the battle and return all characters not under their owner's control to owners' territories. Cannot be negated. Enchantment[Pale Green EE | -/- | TC, Limit one per territory | 2 Kings 17:17]Place in a player's territory: They play with the top card of deck revealed. You may discard this to play the revealed non-Dominant card as though you own and control it anytime you have initiative to play a card of its type.
Almost stopped reading after roll a die ability, but I'm glad I didn't.Man with Evil Spirit seems really meh, The first ability is cool, but you'd only get to use his second ability against Isaiah who he doesn't even get inish against. Joyful Homecoming is fantastic.Enchantment is really cool, I'd suggest adding discard a dominant, or play a non-dominant.
I take it that means you like it? lolThe second ability was also designed to get rid of weapons. It was to fit with the verse (talking about people leaving naked and wounded), but I'm willing to change it if desired.I like it, too. I already limited it to a non-dom ("....play the revealed non-Dominant card....", is that what you meant or did you mean something else? Thanks for the comments. ^_^
I'm not sure if on is defined or if it would include weapons with the current wording, but I still think it's too situational, especially since he won't be getting to play any enhancements against anything that would commonly have a weapon except Michael.I meant add "You may discard this card to discard the revealed card, or play a revealed non-dominant"
Enchantment should read "That player" not "They".
The first one is Seven Sons of Sceva. That'd be like making a card using the same verse as Ira but calling it "David's Warrior" and making it a separate Hero. If you could find a different verse for it, it'd be good.
I checked the verse in context to be sure, and it's the same people. Verses 14-16 further describe the group of exorcists in verse 13.
13Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, "I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims." 14Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this.[/quoteIt's more clear in the ESV than the KJV, but these are the same people, but even in the KJV there is enough syntax to be certain of it. Consider this sentence: "A group of people said 'I will pay five dollars for a haircut.' And six recovering hippies said that. The barber said, 'Five dollars is not enough for a haircut.'" It's pretty clear that the group of people is the hippies. The "and" business is part of the archaic English used in the KJV.Compare it to other versions and you'll see that it's most definitely the sons of Sceva who were the exorcists.
