Cactus Game Design Message Boards

I want to make a few card ideas for certain demographics of cards that get left out for various reasons.

Silver and Teal Sites:
Every single other Brigade of Site has at least one Site with a really good SA. The SA's on Silver sites are negligible, and the Teal SA's are not up to par. So, how about this:

Sodom
Silver Site
"If a Captured Character is in this Site, you may add it to either side of a battle you are involved in."

"When a Lost Soul is placed in or Rescued from this Site, you may return a card you own in an opponent's territory to your hand."

Now Red. The reason it's UU is not because it lacks power, but because it's very weak against Demons and lacks speed. So, how about this:

Authority of Peter
3/3 Purple/Red Good Enhancement, TC
"If used during battle, Interrupt the Battle and Capture a Demon. If used by Peter, you may place in your territory: protect all decks from Discard abilities on Fortresses."

Showbread

Syrians get left out because they're really good at capturing, but that's the #1 most protected from ability and there's no real way to get around it. So, how about this:

Den of Robbers
Evil Fortress
"When you are attacked, your Evil Capture abilities work regardless of Protection. If a character would be captured, owner may Discard a card of matching Brigade from hand to shuffle character into deck."

I had Sodom do what it does for two reasons: Bera, King of Sodom captures a Hero and puts it in Sodom. Also, I didn't want it to be OP and make a CBN band on Evil, I wanted it to be used for combos at best, and free initiative at worst. Asherah pole doesn't see much use because N.T. is by far the most popular offense. But imagine capturing an O.T. Red Hero with Bera, putting him in Sodom, and adding him to battle with Asherah Pole active. If your opponent doesn't have AotL or GoW, you're going to have initiative and it's going to hurt.

Also, I don't think it's currently allowed to add cards to your opponent's side of the battle, except with a "add all characters to both sides of the battle" ability. Like, you can't use that Curse that lets you add an EC to battle if you're the one making a rescue attempt.
