Some help for deck discard...

So, JTower shuts down deck discard, and yes, I know I can use Spreading Mildew. But here's the card (or at least a concept of what a card could be).

"Overtaking Jerusalem"
Territory class enhancement, evil gold, 2/3

When your Egyptian King makes a successful block, place this enhancement on an Old Testament fortress. While this card remains, negate all special abilities on that fortress. Discard this card when an OT King makes a successful rescue.

Passage: "And it came to pass, that in the fifth year of king Rehoboam, Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had transgressed against the LORD," (2 Chronicles 12:2)

I think Marti is looking for a wording such as this:

Place in your territory: When your Egyptian King makes a successful block, you may place this card on an O.T. Fortress to negate it until an O.T. King makes a successful rescue.

I really like this, though the first sentence is a bit tricky? Since this is TC, what happens to it between when you play it and your successful block? Personally, I would also make it stronger... Because right now It's not even quite as good a Spreading Mildew, or any of the other Fortress killers.

"Place on a good fortress: When your Egyptian King makes a successful block, discard that fortress and move this card to another good fortress. Discard this card when an OT King makes a successful rescue."

Then it's not negating the ability outright, but eventually the fortress will die if you're playing a solid defense. :) What do you think?

that is a really nice card but it is a bit OP'd you could use it to take out key fortresses like wop or zerubbabel.
if people wouldnt misuse it I would fully approve

Spreading Mildew is better than this card, unless I am missing something.

Seems like if you use a Gold Egyptian defense to discard cards, and the 2 LS's that discard, plus the LS that allows you to remove a LS to discard another1, Plus Darius' Decree + the Art that discards a card if an Egyptian is in play.  It seems there's enough to discard already.  I haven't seen some1 use JT for a long time.  You can also toss in the Good Gold Hero that forces every1 to discard 2 cards.

Deck Discard is still only semi-viable. JT's new ruling might cause it to be in more decks, since it apparently will stop Harvest Time now. Besides, Egyptians could use some more fortress-killing help. :)

It protects instead of prevents.
Technically, it restricts, but that's pretty much the same as protect.

Restrict isn't even defined yet... J tower currently doesn't do anything.
