I would for-sure add the second two to my deck! I think in Type 2 Temple Guard could be ridiculous, it loops so you can search for a sadducee every battle.

Possibly, but it isn't really a good thing to continually be defeated and in order for there to be a loop you would have to keep being defeated.
-
yes, but in theory if I am continually being defeated you're wasting battle winners as I loop around (I can put two sad's in battle every turn causing you to burn two battle winners instead of one.)
-
You couldn't add it to battle again on the same turn it was placed. I like all three.
-
True, but every turn after that I can enter battle with a sad, then use him to replace it after a battle winner.
-
Hes not in territory so AOCP wipes him out if played on a saducee in battle, Holy unto the lord targets him.
There are a lot of battle winners that would target Temple guard even though he is on a site and prevent the hero from having to play multiple battle winners, Plus with Asher and Micah, there is plenty of battle winner recursion (and choose the blocker can eliminate the all of these site guarders).
I like these and they really strenghten site guard (a strategy that is particularly weak and has been for a long time)
They are not OP even though the saducee loop is pretty sick.
Props to you Sean

Is Temple Guard a Sadducee? If so, placing several on sites and just spamming them unto battle every time the other one loses would be epic (though broken). It's like Unknown Nation x5 on the same turn! :P

The current Temple Guard is classified as a Sadducee but I'm not sure why. Seems to me a guard would be unlikely to be educated like the Sadducees were and probably wouldn't be part of their political faction. That said, I don't think this would be too strong if it were printed as a Sadducee.

Simply put, the Temple Guard was the private army of Ciaphas.
