Singing in the Rain
[White GE | TC | 4/3 | Involves Music | Joel 2:23]
Search deck for a good enhancement depicting water (and add to hand) or involving music (and add to hand or Musicians' Chambers). Cannot be interrupted.

23 Be glad, people of Zion,
rejoice in the LORD your God,
for he has given you the autumn rains
   because he is faithful.
He sends you abundant showers,
both autumn and spring rains, as before.

Maybe you sould make it territory class. What Enhancements that you would use depict water?

Looking just at my trade binder, I found the following cards that depict water: Chastisement of the Lord, Ship to Cyprus, Water to Wine, Ezra's Journey, Washing Hands, Suicidal Swine Stampede (possibly), Meeting the Messiah (possibly), Well Reopened, Baptism of Jesus, Pretension, and then there's Deluge of Rain that I could think of off the top of my head.

I thought about making it "search for a card depicting water" but I thought that might be overpowered since then you could search for stuff like Pithom, Fishing Boat, Woman at the Well, and some others.

None of those are either white or involve music so you would have to use it with a different brigade for it to be used most effectively.

Not necessarily. You could have a mono-white offense and use this to search for a card depicting water for your defense (Washing Hands, Pretension, and Deluge of Rain are all gray, for example).

If you wanted to use this to search for a good card depicting water, then yes you'd probably have it in a splash or 2+ brigade offense. Those are fairly common nowadays, though.

I didn't think about searching for Evil Enhancements. but why would it search for Evil Enhancements? and I still think you should make it teritory class.

Alright, alright, I'll make it TC, lol. And, I left it open for evil enhancements to make it more useful since, as you mentioned, the "depicting water" part wouldn't be of nearly as much use if it was only good cards (and it would require that you use a more-than-one brigade offense if you wanted to use that part).

On second thought, the verse I found is very specific about rejoicing for the God-given rains, so perhaps I should rethink allowing it to search for evil cards. I know "Great Faith" isn't something that should get evil enhancements even though it does, but I'm not sure I should purposefully allow this to do something similar.

As does Angel's Sword, a mighty nice thing to have in a Silver splash.

Yes, there are lots of options for enhancements that depict water. Are there enough good choices that I should limit it to a good enhancement depicting water?

Make it GE's. And I may be reading it incorrectly but it seems to me like this could put AoCP in Musician's Chambers. That's an uh-oh if I ever saw one.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Only if Ithamar could activate any artifact in the Tabernacle... ::)

Which he can until he gets an errata. There is currently no mechanism to support the bottom-up ruling on Ithamar, and I'd use the same principle as "disregard errata disguised as play-as" to say "disregard errata disguised as bottom-up rulings."

The mechanism, I thought, was that you cannot override the Hold ability or other identifiers of a fortress with another card's special ability.

Nevertheless, I reworded the card to (hopefully) make it clearer.
