Agreed; here's a rule to follow when thinking of new cards: Would practically every deck have this card in it if it was made? If so, it shouldn't be made (unless you also have a bunch of cards that can easily counter it). IMO, I don't think there should be any more dominants, period.

How about this then?

Fire and Brimstone
Evil Dominant
Place this card on one of your occupied sites. If a Hero rescues that Lost Soul, prevent Opponent from taking cards from their discard piles.

I still don't think there should be any more dominants. The more dominants there are, the fewer characters and enhancements people will want to use.

Idk. I like doms like doubt/glory but this dom would be a staple. I like the idea of  "Place this card on one of your occupied sites. If a Hero rescues that Lost Soul, prevent Opponent from taking cards from their discard piles."

Maybe
Grief 2/2 gold enh.
"Place on an occupied single color site. If a hero is discarded while making a rescue attempt at this site place this card in opp's territory. Opp may not search discard pile for heroes."

Make it brown, Gold is too powerful already

Ah but brown excells at d/cing peoples. Gold lacks alot of d/c.
