Lust - 3/4 Crimson curse - If a player bands characters of opposite genders, negate their abilities (except for banding) and all enhancments played by them.

Gluttony - 3/4 Grey curse - If a player uses a draw ability in his upkeep or preperation phase, he may not begin a battle until next turn.

Greed - 3/4 Brown curse - If a player uses a draw ability, decrease his heroes by X/X. (X = cards drawn)

Sloth - 3/4 Pale Green curse - If a hero remains in territory for two turns, it becomes paralyzed*.

Wrath - 3/4 Black Curse - If a hero discards another player's card with an ability, convert that hero to an evil character.

Envy - 3/4 Gold curse - If a player steals a card or forces another player's card into battle, discard one of his and remove all cards in his discard pile from the game. Cannot be Interrupted.

Pride - 3/4 Orange Curse - If a player more than 2 redeemed souls, restrict that player from playing dominants.

Paralysis should become its own ability. A paralyzed hero cannot enter battle until healed.

*edit*
mostly grammatical changes that don't change the ability.

Except for some grammatical shakiness, very nice.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Gluttony + Mayhem = freeblock.

Apart from that I like them.

That has been fixed.

Now they need to use the draw ability.

For wrath, is it any type of discard? Does discard by numbers count? Enhancement abilities? If yes to either, put a limit on it.

Wrath and Pride seem OP, Pride especially in T2.

Note on Envy: "Steal" is currently not an ability in Redemption. "Take" is what you mean, I believe.

Other than that, love the concept and love the cards.

I love all of them except Pride. They are not only really creative, but are well balanced. Except Pride. I don't think it's balanced, considering you can activate it after devasting your opponent with all sorts of dominants.

I just realized Wrath needs to say "except during battle resolution," otherwise every low-numbered EC would be a CBN autoblock.

Fixed Wrath, now it needs to be discarded by an ability.

Would that even be able to activate during battle resolution?

I Like the cards but the seven deadly sins aren't actually Biblically founded.

Still very fun and different.

I think sloth is far too powerful though. Mabey at least 3 turns or X turns ( X=number of Heroes in opponents territory at time the curse is activated) and mabey put a max and min on the X because one turn would be crazy and 7 would be worthless.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

The concept of seven sins being deadly and the rest not isn't biblical, but they are all sins nonetheless and there are ample verses demonstrating them.

Rob would probably be on board with this anyway since he's Catholic.

Being of catholic origin would help then, still I do like the cards. I talked to my dad (pastor) really quick after I posted. I double checked that there not Biblical in it's entirety but he did tell me about a list of sins in Proverbs. Mabey that could be a verse source. Possibly giving them the same verse.

Pro 6:16  These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Pro 6:17  A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro 6:18  An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Pro 6:19  A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

^ is what you're looking for, I believe.

I'm just curious, how many (if any) card ideas on this board have ever been printed?

I love these ideas, I like how they fit into their brigades so well.

Goliath's special ability (except taunt) was taken from a card idea on the boards if I'm not mistaken, not sure of others.

I had a card a while back about taking a card from your opponent's hand and putting it in yours, and then the next set had two such cards. So that kind of counts.  ::)

Slothfullness? Lol.

Also, the * part of sloth was a clarification in general. Also, putting shadows behind the text makes abilities much easier to read.
