Daniel Heroes

I don't think anyone can deny that Daniel Heroes need some help. Here are a few of my ideas:

Daniel
6/7 White Hero
“Discard all Lions’ Den sites. Prevent special abilities on brown Evil Characters. Good Enhancements with a Daniel reference cannot be negated. May band to a Hero with a Daniel reference.”
O.T. Male Human

Shadrach (Hananiah)
5/7 White Hero
“You may search your deck for a Hero with a Daniel reference and put in play. May band to a Hero with a Daniel reference.”
O.T. Male Human

Foretelling Angel
4/7 Sliver Hero
“If a human Hero with a Daniel reference is in play, look at a draw pile. You may move a card in that draw pile to the top or bottom and return the cards unshuffled. Cannot be interrupted.”
Generic O.T. Male Angel, Prophet

Daniel’s Faithfulness
0/0 White Enhancement
“O.T. Hero caonnot be blocked by human evil characters.”

Instead of discarding Lion's Den (because he didn't eliminate it)... maybe give him access to Lion's Den? Idk.

The point of it was to stop Persian Presidents. It may not be completely accurate...

I'll deny it :).  I use them with my priest and they're fine by themselves.

That being said...

I like the idea behind the angel but I would rather not change Hananiah's ability.

no... not more ignoring for white ;) besides if you used the daniel enhancments cbn, then all you would have to do is
Daniel to Shadrach To Meshach To abendego to michael with angels sword.then you could play a silver or white daniel enhancment cbn. ah that would be fun.

agreed, white does NOT need an interrupt and ignore...they are the only ones with covenants that can fish for them, leave royal parade alone :P

I changed Daniel's Faithfulness so that it doesn't interrupt the battle or contain the word "ignore" anymore. I agree it was probably OP before, but this is better.

Does it gain abilities from other Slivers in play?

I think the current Shadrach is better than your suggested version.

I like Foretelling Angel a lot.

I think Daniel's Faithfulness should have "ignore" in it.  It is ten times more clear than the old school wording.  The OPness isn't from the word "ignore" its from the fact that it ignores 90% of Evil Characters.
May you prosper greatly!

Really? You mean you guys like this guy better than my idea? Why? The only cards the current one protects from are King Zimri, Coliseum Lions, Deceit of Sapphira, and Nebuchadnezzar's Dream, most of which probably won't even be used in the same Crimson defense. And if they are, most of them will be used by someone who interrupts or negates his ability anyway; I always thought he was useless. My version of Shadrach can search for and band to Meshach, who can prevent Crimson EC SA's (including Zimri's), which I think is even better if your opponent is using crimson in the first place.

All of those discards are pretty common in crimson defenses that I've seen played in the last few years.  I like the fact that the immunity to crimson better reflects Scripture as well.  Searching for another Hero is just something that would be nice to have whereas immunity to crimson actually makes sense when you read the Scripture.
May you prosper greatly!

If only I could think of an accurate ability that didn't stink and wasn't already used. ...:P
