Self-righteousness
[Grey Evil Enhancement | -/- ]
All human heroes in play whose strength is greater than their toughness are converted to evil characters. Owner's may choose the evil brigade of their converted character(s). Opponent may discard breastplate of righteousness from hand to negate this.
--------------
Luke 16:15 "And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God."

It can be negated, but since it's TC it would only be negatable by Cov of Noah-type cards, so I would still say it's OP, imho.

added a second version that is less OP
-
I think if you just remove the TC from version 1, that would be fine and make a very interesting card. :)
-
Version 1:
I like the idea, but I think that it is too powerful as a TC enh. With cards like Plagued w/ Diseases all the opponent's human heroes would be converted, and the only thing they could do is CoN it or discard BoR from hand (two cards that I have rarely seen anyone other than myself use).
Version 2:
I don't see enough incentive to use this card, as it is like TPoS, but they have to successfully rescue for it to work. I don't think anyone would play it because, how many times can it actually be helpful?
P.S.- Why orange, out of curiousity?
Version 1- changed
Version 2- what if it affected any hero that entered battle
orange?- well, i would have made it multi- but it would have been too OP :p
it just seems that if there was only one brigade that took advantage of the weakness in man's self-righteousness it would be the one associated with demons. Besides it would also be more logical for a demon to cause a human to fall prey to self-righteousness that another man to make someone self-righteous. idk, just kind of my thoughts.

Should be Grey, Black, or both (Phars and Sads are the "self righteous" theme). First card I love, second card needs to convert all opponent's Heroes after battle, not just successful rescuers.

not black, too many good additions there lately. grey could use a decent card, and in this case it is actually referring to pharisees in the verse.
I guess personal opinion and preference would say: grey/orange... then men of self-righteousness, and the demons behind the men
However, I think it could make an interesting multi too
opinions?

Grey. There's enough real demonic stuff in the Bible that we don't have to throw Orange onto everything and say "well this is about a person, but a demon was probably involved somehow."

well, orange has a lot of catching up to do, as does teal.... i suppose it wouldn't help teal much much though :P

Orange and Teal are fine, actually. And I'm still scratching my head over what nice cards Black got recently. This set destroyed Black.

well, DI in my opinion didn't improve most evil. I thought it was definitely offense heavy as far as power players go. However, priests/foof/roa/txp.... black was made in the shade. HHP, abom, all the greek ECs, the phili cards of txp, outpost, etc... and that is in addition to what black already had.... wrath, joseph in prison, morg.... i don't play black too much so i'm not familiar with them all
i am not too familiar with DI yet, but pre-DI there weren't too many orange EE i was fond of.... really just Destructive sin

You should probably find out more about Di before you talk about it.

It destroyed Philistines (Goliath will help to right that ship though). It did help Sadducees quite a bit IMO. Chief Priest's Offer is awesome, and Disbelieving Sadducees is a Heroless/lite player's dream card. Herod's Temple also helps.

well, i knew there were only a few orange and i didn't remember anything too spectacular. Looking now the only one T1-deck worthy in my book is SSS. It's good, but not a great improvement for such a new undeveloped brigade.
-
cool, an elder posted in my card idea thread.... :)
-
Orange is anything but underdeveloped.

i respectfully disagree :)

Ok, let's play and I'll show you how underdeveloped Orange is.

ok

Orange was, in my opinion, the best single brigade last year (slightly beating black). Although I doubt it'll be the best single brigade this year, I agree with Pol that orange is still nasty.
-
eh, it's grey :)
