Samaria Theme

I had the idea for the ability I gave King Ahaziah and I ended up making it into more of a theme around Samaria Sites since that theme already existed but didn't seem very good.  I hope these cards help that theme.  Part of the point is to defend well against a Purple Royalty or a Prophet-type offense, but since this is my first time making cards and I've never actually built those kinds of decks before, I don't know how well it will do.  Let me know what you think, but please be nice.  It's my birthday.   ;D

King Ahaziah
EC   Brown   6/6   W   Judean King
Holder may activate an artifact depicting an idol in their temple to negate and discard an opponent’s artifact.  Previous artifact is deactivated and negated.  Cannot be negated if Athaliah is in play.  May band to King Joram of Israel.
2 Kings 8:24 “And Joram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.”


King Joram
EC   Brown   5/5   W   Israelite King
Draw X cards.  If King Ahaziah is in battle, holder may discard all cards in battle.  Cannot be interrupted.
Identifier: X = # of Samaria sites in play.  Limit 3.
2 Kings 8:29 “And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria.  And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick."

Athaliah
EC   Brown   2/2   Judean Queen
Gains 1/1 for each Purple Brigade Hero discarded or captured while she is in play.  If King Ahaziah is in your discard pile, holder may discard a good King.  Opponent may withdraw a hero from battle to negate this.  Cannot be prevented unless King Joash is in play.
2 Kings 11:1 “And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.”

House of Baal
Green Territory
While blocking a rescue attempt at this site, negate good play and card-drawing abilities.  If a green brigade hero makes a rescue attempt at this site, holder may play the first enhancement.
Identifier: Samaria Site
1 Kings 16:32 “And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.”

Chariots of Joram and Ahaziah
EE   Brown   Weapon
If used by Evil royalty, character may band to another royal Evil character.  Discard this character after battle if King Jehu or an Archer is in play.  Cannot be prevented.
2 Kings 9:21 “And Joram said, ‘Make ready.’ And his chariot was made ready.  And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

These are the ideas that I have so far.  Of course, I'm open to suggestion.  I tried to make the cards as close to the story as I could while keeping them somewhat unique.  Since these characters had been printed before, I didn't change their numbers or brigades, and I kept parts of their abilities while trying to make them a little more powerful.  Anyways, have at it.  Thanks in advance for your help.

wow, great job first time out! a few little suggestions, post the verse below the ability, thats just kinda how cards are posted, it makes it easier to read imo.  king ahaziah and king joram are overpowered and would be splashed into every deck ever made.  they let you activate and extra artifact (as it is worded now you could have a normal temple artifact active and then the idol on top of that, also needs to add "for one round" i believe to that part of the ability) , draw cards, and an instant cbi kill card and they can use hamans plot.  i really like their abilities, just dont make joram cbi and amend ahaziah as i said above.  chariots in redemption also usually only have the ability "interrupt the battle, draw 2 cards, play next enhancement" so a chariots for brown brigade should probably be something along those lines, maybe only useable if evil royalty is in play so i can be used by both Samaritan and Jerusalem kings/queens. overall the cards are pretty well balanced and help them theme a lot, good cards!

Thanks for your suggestions.  Yeah, meant to put in the deactivate and negate previous artifact part and forgot.  The whole point was to be able to activate an idol in a temple, kinda like how Glory of the Lord has that discard part of its ability that no longer factors in at all.  Thought it would be fun to make a way where it actually makes a difference.  As for the chariots, I was kinda trying to branch away from that theme like Chariots of the Sun, though I realize that the theme might be there for a reason.  I just didn't like the idea of having a character who could already draw three cards drawing two more and playing a battle ender like Gibeonite Trickery or something like that. A 5 card draw for one defender just seemed like a bit much.
