I like most of them, but Census should just set aside all NT heroes for two turns since that is basically what it does instead of using X, House Arrest should put the captured character in their territory (or house), and the Tactics should not be WC since I don't know how a soldier would psycially equip tactics while avoiding having two interrupt, draw two, play next in grey...

Battle Tactics is a BIG no no. Gray doesn't need another 2kh and Tactics is not a physical weapon.

House Arrest.
Return one hero to territory. Next time that hero enters battle capture it regardless of protection.

Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.

Like them a lot, especially Chains of Persecution. Some comments:
Chains of Persecution
Artifact - Prevent special abilities on all NT heroes. Discard this card if Paul, Barnabas, or Silas win a battle.
I'm in love with this card. Sick name, cool ability, Bible Story elements, balanced, total winner in my book. I'd love to see one of the fun card makers turn this into a card image with some wicked awesome art.

Prison Guard
Grey EC 6/5 WC - Holder may search draw pile or discard pile and exchange this card with Chains of Persecution.  Previous artifact is negated, Chains of Persecution is immediately activated. May band to a Roman Governor or Emperor.
Identifier:Male, Roman, Fount in an earthly battle
I'd remove the "fount(?) in an earthly battle." The wording needs to be cleaned up, too, and I don't understand why a prison guard can band to an Emperor or even Governor for that matter. It's also a bit messy to have a band and an exchange.

Roman Prison

Blue Site -Return one captured NT hero to owner's territory to place this site and all NT characters in battle under draw pile.
Like it.

Roman Citizenship
Multi GE/Multi EE Territory Class - If used by a Roman, search draw pile for one Roman card and add to hand.
Ehh, seems like a pretty meh ability for how it came into play in the Bible.

Flogging
Grey EE 2/2 - Protect abilities have no effect for remainder of battle. Discard one Hero with abilties */8 or less. Cannot be interrupted if used by a Roman.
"Have no effect" is outdated wording. I also don't like that it's a CBN battle-winner with easy-to-meet conditions. Also, Flogging didn't kill people for the most part. How about, "If you have a Roman Emperor, Negate Protection. Place a Hero with 8 or less defense beneath deck. Cannot be Interrupted if Opponent has a Pharisee or Sadducee."

Caesar Augustus
Grey EC 8/4 Protected from good discard abilities. Search draw pile for Census and play it.
Identifier: Male, Roman, Governor
Shouldn't he be an Emperor? Solid card if Census gets toned down. Should also follow Emperor numbering in 10/(Length of reign capped at 10).

Tiberius Caesar
Grey EC 6/9 Protected from good convert abilities. Search draw pile for Caesarea Philippi.
Identifier: Male, Roman, Governor
Are you really good friends with a Governor who thinks he's hot stuff? Should also be an Emperor. Solid, but this should also follow the trend of 10/(length of reign capped at 10).

Census
Grey EE - Set aside X N.T. characters for 2 turns. Cannot be negated if used by Caesar Augustus.
Identifier: Roman, X = number of N.T. characters in play.
No more CBN battle-winners with easy-to-meet conditions. Give it ITB if used by an Emperor and get rid of the CBN.

Centurion

Grey EC 7/6 WC- May band to a Roman. Cannot be negated if Roman Troops is in play.
Identifier: Male, Roman, fought in an earthly battle.
Eh, so-so. The trend seems to be making Centurions good, though. Is there an Evil Centurion in the Bible?

Roman Troops
Grey EC 10/10 WC - The first time this character is defeated, return to territory.
Identifier: Generic, Roman, fought in an earthly battle.
Again, so-so.

House Arrest

Grey EE Territory Class - Capture any N.T. Hero
Identifier: Roman
House Arrest is already a card, with a more fitting ability than this one.

Battle Tactics
Grey EE WC - If used by a Roman, interrupt the battle, draw 2 cards and play the next enhancement.
Identifier: Roman
Very no. First of all, tactics isn't a physical weapon. Second, is there a verse for this? Third, Grey already has Namaan's Ride.

Kind of some fun Romans cards. I think they are very playable.

I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I think they are great! The weapon on roman troops should get discarded if the card "dies" and goes to his territory.
