Title: Reviving a legendary offense
Post by: Master Q on January 08, 2017, 04:08:54 PM
These 3 cards would singlehandedly change the face of T2 for the better, restoring a once-dominant strategy to its rightful place of power. Hail Hydra!

i'm trying to figure out the relationships of just about everything here outside of relating to redemption

how does this revive a legendary offense?
how does it require elders of jerusalem and why is the potential special ability doing anything for t2 specifically?
how is t2 or even elders of jerusalem supplemented by a clay version of blessings instead?

At one point before the deck building rules changed and better cards were released, elders of jerusalem banding was a top tier deck in T2.

The major components of the offense were Elders of Jerusalem, Blessings, Transfiguration, Moses, The Strong Angel and Gathering of Angels.

For a long time, the only way to stop this offense was Simon/Wrath or Brown with Plots...lots of Plots.

Household Idols. Hope to find one before your opponent scores out.

This was the deck I think people are referring too. A monster back in the day but it got a little nerfed with rule changes.
