Hi Everyone!

I have a couple new cards I made, here they are:

Spoiler (hover to show)

I'd love to hear what you all think!

They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

Seven Golden Lampstands is way OP. Keys to Death & Hades might be a little strong, but it's not that bad. The rest are good.

Seven Golden Lampstands is OP.

I originally had it to be only a Revelation 2-3 Site. Would that make it better?
What would you suggest to make it better?

Not doing what it does. Anything that helps TGT is a downvote. If you had to have 3 Revelation angels in play or something prohibitive to a TGT deck then it'd be fine.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Agree on Lampstands, unfortunately.  I think maybe having a reveal effect would be better, and require Angels to be in play?

I also like how, right now, the only useful Angels you could get with Seven Stars are Michael and TSA, but that's pretty good ;)  Were you planning to post more angels?

How this for Lampstands?

Seven Golden Lampstands
Artifact
Rev. 1:12, Heavenly Artifact, X = # of Revelation Angels in play.
If you control a Revelation 2-3 Site, Reveal the top X Cards of Opponents Deck. Discard 2 revealed Evil Cards. Shuffle the rest. If a NT Site is Discarded, Discard this card.

Also, what is making Keys so OP?

As for your question, yes, I am making a lot of Angel ideas (I went through Revelation and am basically making a Revelation Set.) and it's made to be a bit more supportive for them. I also made some stuff for TSA an Mike too, along w/ other cards.

I don't see anyone saying Keys is so OP.  They said a little strong, but not OP.

On Lampstands, that is still far too powerful.  Discard 2 revealed evil cards each time?  Revealing X meaning that it will be 2 + however many angels you make?  Nope, still to powerful.

I think a reveal is more suited for its special ability, not discard, based on the verse.  The discards and bottom-decking you are suggesting are far too OP.

It could be lessened by adding a cost. Maybe "you may place an evil card in your territory beneath deck to force opponent to do the same"

I'm not basing it on just that verse, but also the next 2 chapters where he is telling the churches to cleanse themselves. Also, of I drop anything else, it would the Discard itself clause. The idea is to have it be good, but then easier to get rid of. The way that you are suggesting would make it pointless to run. Why would I use a card to Look at my Opponents deck if that's all it does?
Also Wash Basin Discards all Evil cards and has less limits. I may put it to 1 Evil Card. Also, it doesn't place them, it shuffles them. So it can give an Opponent some better cards too.

It was suggested that Keys is OP and only has down votes. I believe it's at a -3 for it.

Asheal - We already have Nathan for that, and it wouldn't fit the reference.

First, you said that a Nathan ability would not fit, but also argued that the verses involves cleansing the church.  Why not be cleansing both territories?

And yes, you want something to be useful, but you are making it too useful.  Wash Basin has a hard limit of 2 (if you even use it at all), but your card has no limit (especially if you end up making generic Revelation characters) and discards 2.  Hence, it is much more powerful.  In fact, it is overpowerful.  That is why we are trying to help suggest limitations :)

On Keys, I like it in principle, but it is worded a bit funky still (for Redemption-speak).  Will see if I can think of a suggestion.

I downvote it because it stops Naz too easily. Naz is an answer to OP strategies, and therefore does not need an answer itself.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

But...if it protected decks and discard from all other effects, that would inherently do the same thing as Naz, plus more.

It wouldn't stop Naz, it would be even worse (to meta, that is).  Technically, I don't think even draw would work.

Ooooh, I read that wrong. Ok, now the only reason I'm downvoting it is the art is pretty rubbish for such a cool-named card.

I believe that Draw abilities are exempt from Protection Of Decks, because Protect keeps u from targetting it, Draw does not target anything. (I know this is the ruling in Yugioh, and I heard it was the same in Redemption)

Actually, it has been ruled that JT protects cards you draw from things like RBD (I'm pretty sure that's how that thread ended up), so therefore it follows that Draw is something that targets deck.  If it is protected, Draw abilities should not work.

Actually, the ruling from our tournament says that RBD targets a card that isn't in Deck or in Hand and thus cannot be protected by cards that protect those areas.

The understanding that I got from my tournament is that Draw abilities do not target, it's just a Draw, nothing else. I forget how they explained how they don't target.

If you're referring to Ken's tournaments, you haven't even been there the last 2 months (at least) so I wish you wouldn't refer to the playgroup as ruling this way when you have no idea how anything has been ruled recently. Ken and I are pretty good about keeping up with ruling discussions (and any changes/clarifications), but you make us seem like we're back in the stone age of Redemption, lol.

Also, just because you think something is the case doesn't mean it was ruled that way at our tournies (as I am 99% sure we've never ruled that RBD targets cards in Limbo).

That was at Kirk Tournament. He was unsure though, but that's what he said then. But it was recently clarified, so that's not a problem now.

I updated the pic on Keys!
