Post by: megamanlan on February 12, 2017, 11:14:53 PM
Welcome the second set of Judgements on the Earth - The Seven Trumpets!

Spoiler: The First Trumpet (hover to show)

Spoiler: The Second Trumpet (hover to show)

Spoiler: The Third Trumpet (hover to show)

Spoiler: The Fourth Trumpet (hover to show)

Spoiler: The Fifth Trumpet (hover to show)

Spoiler: The Sixth Trumpet (hover to show)

Spoiler: The Seventh Trumpet (hover to show)

Spoiler: Golden Censer (hover to show)

Spoiler: Burning Censer (hover to show)

I am considering changing a few of these cards, namely to not be too much the same. Also I recently had an idea for a support card for the Trumpets. But as always, Im open to comments, opinions and suggestions. Let me know what you all think!

I don't really think Michael needs three more interrupts. Golden Censor seems like it would be an automatic staple because angels can fit into nearly every deck.

I feel like some of the enhancements are a bit powerful, at least to all come out at once. This basically makes it where angels can destroy any human defense, given you have Michael with angels sword and  a handful of angels and demons out. maybe if they had a limit to the decrease/discard it wouldn't be as bad.

To be honest, Angels have barely any Interrupts besides just the generic negate last's. To add to that, all of the Silver Interrupts are trash except Protection of Angels and Striking Herod. (Swift Beings is a 'maybe' okay. The rest are not worth even playing). Second Trumpet is strong but honestly... its not "OP", but First Trump really isn't because its basically a "Negate and Discard". The Sixth Trumpet I have been considering swapping the Negate and Discard X Humans with the Release all Captured Angels.

Well, the concept of the Trumpets is more against Humans and the idols they worship. But I am considering changing the Third Trumpet to not be a decrease... And I need to find a way for the Fifth Trumpet to make Discarding by game rule impossible...

Yea, honestly Im not sure what to do with the Golden Censer. I have to look at the O.T. use for it what it meant. I'm pretty sure it might change.

Don't forget about Live Coal, which is one of the best silver enhancements in the game. For Golden Censor, I would make it require a Revelation Angel in play and also limit the targets for the discard somehow.

Hey guys,
Are these the actual cards, or you guys' made-up versions?
Thanks,
Eric

Anything in this area are made up cards.

In playing Angels, I typically end up not using Live Coal. It's nice, but sometimes a tad to simple. I may do that for Golden Censer... Just not sure how to work it

How about

"Negate Curses. If you control a Revelation Angel, discard this card to discard a non-character evil or neutral card in a territory."

Hmm... Perhaps. I was thinking of taking a note from the current burning censer and making it discard a Site or Fortress.

The Fifth Trumpet
2/5 Silver Enhancement
Involves Final Judgement, X = # of Pit Demons in play, Rev 9:1
Search Deck for "The Pit" and a Pit Demon and play it. Paralyze X Humans. If "The Day of God's Wrath" is in your Land of Redemption: Decrease Humans by X/X and Protect Humans from Discard this turn.

So, a new trick for Rehoboam/Gabriel.  And quite an effective one too.  Not sure we need more of those   :P

What trick? And I'm attempting to find a way to make it work someway. Namely that it starts up a defense but also function to be a "judgement" on humans too.

Also, do note that it is using "The Day of God's Wrath" which means you aren't rescuing Lost Souls.
