Lydia bothering you? No problem! Drop this, discard your Writ, and capture her anyway. :P

Nice idea. It could be really fun. But why Brown/Gray?

I didn't really know what brigades to give it. I picked gray because I think the Syrians were the main evil people during Jeremiah (though I'm not at all certain of that) and then brown because that's the brigade for the lukewarm and believers in sin type of thing. I am more than willing to change the brigade if someone has a better suggestion. :)

Because the ability is fun, but not necessarily great, you may want to consider making it multicolored.

I considered that, but I felt like it wasn't powerful enough to warrant limiting it to one per any deck, which is why I'm trying to find a brigade (or two) to fit it into.

Ok, that makes sense, in that case I would go with either Gray alone, or brown/gray like you have.

This card has abuse written all over it. Combo players will find out how.

I have to agree w/ KChief... Scribe can recur it, and it would be worse as a Multi card. I'd be mostly worried of abuse in T1 more than T2 though.
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

I just love vague comments. They make it so much easier to update the card.

Holy grail abuse perhaps?

I don't see how. Any restrictions on the artifact would apply the same to this card. Also, any multi-use artifact would be instantly discarded and lose any further uses it had. As far as if you meant using Holy Grail twice in one turn, I intended that any "once per turn" limits would carry over to this, but I'm not sure if I achieved that.

Well you wouldn't be using your Grail on 'your turn' so wouldn't that allow you to use it a second time?  I haven't read the definition of turn in the reg in a while, so I dunno...

EDIT: I checked the REG, it would allow you to use grail.  But using grail again wouldn't give a massive advantage though.

I could see some weird combos with the Silver Trumpets, but they would have to band to your priest.

Another thing would be like CBN banding on Scribe by dropping Besieged or some of the worse Curses like that w/ Given over to Egypt to Discard again. Basically it would make all Curses harder to stop, not to mention cards like Iron Pan.

It doesn't become an artifact, it just copies the artifact's special ability. As such, being an enhancement on a character in battle that's not warrior class or placed, it goes to the discard when the battle is over. Therefore, it doesn't seem useful to copy an ongoing artifact with it as you'd then lose that ongoing ability at the end of the battle phase. I don't know that you could get a discard with GotE because it specifies "on activation" and I don't think this card counts as an "activation." It was designed to let you use optional trigger abilities while the battle is interrupted (like discarding Grail or Charms to capture while protection is interrupted).

UPDATE: Changed the card to a DAE of Green/Gray. Still limited to at most 2 per deck, and gives you the option to use artifacts on offense as well. Also removed the CBI given that a lot of optional use artifacts would be kinda OP with CBI tacked on them.

I guess it's okay, but still now Prophets and Scribe can pull it back.
I'm more worried what others would find ways to abuse it, But I like it better now.

I don't understand your fascination with Scribe. So what if it can be recured? It's not some all-powerful card....

Mostly because Scribe is the most OP Recur character out there. Just think, he can recur any OT Enhancement, Negate Ignore abilities and bands to the longest EC banding group currently available, and he's Generic so u can drop an OT Gray or Black card using Marketplace and pull him back and next turn that card u just dropped is in ur deck. And he can recur cards like Baalam's Disobedience and Naaman's C&H & all the Captures for gray.

I can't find any instance where this card would be useful (save the UW example, in which case they'd probably just interrupt right back). I could see potential if you allowed it to target face-down arts for discard; that would make it way better.

Now *that* may see use.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Wewt. I had thought about this version originally, but figured it'd be too powerful (at the time, it was still CBI). I guess I nerfed it too much, so at least now it's useful again. :P
