red birgade, ?/?, weapon, idk verse
negate the special ability of the next evil character that enters battle, except banding.  cannot be interrupted

i think something like this is just what red birgade needs.  it stops characters like red dragon and zimri unless you can band them in, and it gives adino another spear to hold.  any thoughts?

That could help deal with By the numbers characters as well.  However I would make it a little more versatile by saying "Negate the special ability on the next evil card that enters battle, except Banding.  Cannot be interrupted."  Much of the time it will be the same, but occasionally it will hit enhancements.  But I like the idea.

I like the idea, and it seems to kind of go with Red's little mini-theme of character negating, what with Might of Faith and Centurion at Capernaum already in the brew.

I would reword it as a prevent though, just to negate confusion. ;)
