Evil Gold Enhancement
"Discard X cards from top of opponents deck, place Lost Souls on bottom of deck instead.  Cannot be negated if more than one Hero is in battle."
X=Number of Heroes in battle

Wizards
6/7 Palegreen Evil Character
"Reveal up to X cards from top of each draw pile.  Place good cards on bottom of deck, add evil cards to owner's hand, put neutral cards in territory.  Cannot be negated if X is greater than 2."
X=Number of Heroes in battle

Controlling Demon
6/6 Orange Evil Character
"Opponent may withdraw any number of Heroes from battle.  Remove up to X good cards in opponent's discard pile from the game.  If there are none, discard this card after battle.  Cannot be negated."
X=Number of Heroes in battle

The False Prophet
8/12 Gray Evil Character
"Chose a number up to X.  Opponent must discard that number of cards from hand.  Cannot be negated."
X=Number of Heroes in battle

Wouldn't: "Opponent must discard X cards from hand..." accomplish effectively the same thing, in fewer words? I suppose you could theoretically want to choose a lower number, but I can't think of why.

Actually, that wouldn't be quite the same if you look at it, but I don't know why anyone would want to make their opponent discard any fewer cards from their hand than possible. I would just say, "Opponent must d/c x cards from hand. CBN."

If you said, "discard X," then it would have to be that number or none.  If they don't have that number then it would be none.  I say this because of how Assyria Conquers Israel is played.  If they don't have 5 cards in deck then they cannot do the instead.

If you just say, "up to X," then it becomes the opponent's choice and they would naturally choose 0.

First card is WAY too overpowered... true they need a lot of heroes in battle but I just don't see that card ever coming into play... they do a captain band and you get SIX or SEVEN cards off of their deck? No way.

Since when? AFAIK you can still discard 1 character with Zeal if all EC's in play are of the same brigade, and you can discard one single color site with Vengeance of Eternal Fire if that's all that is in a territory. If that's been changed, I would be happy to hear that, but I don't remember it ever being changed.
