What if First Strike was effectively doubling the attack numbers on a character? Like the character "Struck First" and then the battle resumes? Would that make the ability more interesting, or do we like it as is?

Strangely enough that's what I thought first strike was when I first started playing.  However, doing so would make several characters' abilities above King David's, so I highly doubt anyone official (particularly Bryon) would be in favor of such a change.

Yeah, Ehud would become the most powerful card in the game.

or what if first strike gave them the ability to play first enh? that kind of sounds fair.

no no no.... ET and Jake are enough, plus David's Throne does that often enough, just with a small limitation. We don't need any more character's to play first, especially not that many.

Besides, isn't fundamentally changing a game rule probably a bad idea?

Ehud isn't good in Judges Seat because he could only d/c ECs over 7.
