Title: Rabid King Nebuchadnezzar
Post by: Deck Metrics on November 27, 2016, 09:38:10 PM
The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws
Daniel 4:33 NKJV

4/4 Crimson Babylonian King

Taunt: Topdeck a hero.
Territorial Class: Whenever you play a Crimson Babylonian King, Nebuchadnezzar becomes a 4/4 Brown Human Bird Beast for 7 turns.

Withdraw all but one hero from battle. Cannot be prevented.

Thoughts? I think with taunt this card will be very fun to play, lol. I can imagine all the laughter.

maybe just make hime a beast and not a bird beast.... well, I guess he'd be an animal now, actually.

Make him multi-colored.........Maybe whenever you band a crimson evil king into battle he becomes a 4/4 multi-colored Human Bird Beast :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

I think because it was intended to be scripturally accurate, it wouldn't be accurate to have default crimson/brown by default. Since crimson is home of the Babylonians. Yet, brown resembles rebellion. Rather, once the trigger happens. But I doubt having the ability trigger from a band would be better. For it to activate each time he bands would constantly extend his period of becoming a beast. When in scripture it was for a limited time after he humbled himself.

Crimson already has this exact same ability with Deluders, so there wouldn't really be any reason to play this over the TXP version.

With those stats he'll never be an animal outside of territory since he'll just convert back at the start of your turn. Also free evil recursion seems to be an avoided mechanic to prevent games stalling too much.

Low attack higher defense is standard for ECs since they would rather stalemate than mutual destruction. Also 6/8 is a good nod to the current Neb (Also 6/8).

I didn't put high stats since he's a crazy lunatic, lol. I like the taunt, haha.
