I do. I wasn't talking about pre-block ignore though. My deck activates lampstand in Herod's Temple, Altar of Dagon in Temple of Dagon, and Blue Tassels on the artifact pile. So in battle, you have to shuffle me or return me to territory.

so how do you activate dd then? also, discarding to ht for a chunk of ec's in territory will be devastating.

In my current deck I don't. People don't even run ET anymore, at least not at my tournaments.  :P

Actually Ittai was. ET wasn't really even needed for the noobsauce version, he was just the easiest to use.

No, ET is just part of that super awesome combo where you use Gold Shield to convert him to purple so you can play AoCP before the opponent blocks.

Well...that's weird. Aside from his preblock nastiness, he is the same brigade as the Disciples, and he can recur the best Herod's Temple fodder in the game: Philosophy (I think I have it in any deck I have with HT...the ability to save any NT character, Good or Evil, is awesome). I use him in at least three of my current decks.

recurring 3 for any offense and 3 for any defense has rarely never proven useful. sir nobody used this to great effect in his last seasons deck.

rarely. never.
Adding full stops between does not negate the conflicting nature of the words.

As in, it is rare that it is never useful.  So it is usually useful.

take 'never proven useful.' which means philosophy isnt useful. now take stick rarely in front. which means it rarely happens. is this really that hard to comprehend?

I never said I didn't understand what it meant, but you could have said it much more clearly.

Yes.  However, "useful" is much easier to say.

subjective. you're splitting hairs. does it even really matter to get my point across? the answer is no, btw.

If he were splitting hairs, he would have pointed out that even in your explanation post of what "rarely proven useful" meant, you used an extraneous (and in this case, incorrect) word and also omitted a different word. ;)
